Did you just realise that this game was an rng fest.
They tell you the % chance of you getting that doom from cavs
I spent 500k shards on dual crystals for doom just to pull him from a random basic.
You don't need to r3 the best champ in the class to qualify, this game has basically been make the best of what you have or spend a stupid amount of money for the longest of times.
Im about to form a skill t5cc, I'm not going to sit an wait for a miracle 6* NF before I use it

I’ve completed Act 6. I can 100% Cavalier difficulty. I’m no where near a R3 because RNG won’t go my way. If you plan on making t5cc truly available to where I don’t have to 100% Act or complete an AOL path just to know you’ll have a full one, then this is ok. However if you’re just going to keep giving 20% a month and in that 20% you’re giving 2% crystals that FURTHER make it an RNG dependent title, then it’s a load of BS.

There's a pretty great special Nexus Crystal and T5CC in the Abyss Rewards.

Before somebody else posts it, let me: "Don't have an R3? Kabam Miike just said beat Abyss to get this, like that's easy!"

The Abyss of Legends is an option but it's not the only way. And to be frank, this title is more aimed at those that can 100% Abyss of Legends. We just chose to make it easier than that for those that choose alternate ways to progress their Rosters.

If we hadn't shifted the philosophy for where to put this, you would have gotten it probably after Chapter 2 of Book 2 Act 1. This would have been aimed at Summoners with teams of Rank 3 Champions.

You have time. You don't have to do this today, or even right when this comes out. Use your Cavalier Benefits to help you progress our team.

EDIT: I had mistakenly said there's a T5CC Selector in the Abyss Rewards.

Why did you have to add the "1x Rank 3 6-Star" in though? That is a VERY poor move by Kabam as only the top 3% of players have r3 6 stars

Are we playing the same game? To get more than 1 r3 6* star you have to be in a top, top alliance, whale out big time, or have 100% all content in the game and got good RNG.

Terrible move. You really should consider removing the r3 6 star requirement.

I'm a fan of the new progression milestone, though the rank 3 6* aspect of it is stupid, I have champions I can rank up fortunately but for those who have a 6* roster of pure memes or non R3 worthy champs this is a huge slap in the face, remove the R3 6* requirement and this is an amazing addition to the game on top of the buffed cavs, gmc's, and phc's

You fail to understand the actual issue. Offers are tiered based on these titles. I'm the leader of a top250 ally, not everyone has r3s. We are all grinding for the black friday offers. Now the same units will buy different things, due to RNG in rankups, which is rubbish. Not skill, not time, just sheer luck.
The other changes, I could care less about. Offers, yes. Thats what im concerned about.

100% Abyss is closer to what we're aiming for here. 1 Clear is not the progression level we're aiming this at, but we wanted to give Players other routes to get to this level. This was initially going to be somewhere in the next Act, which would have been aimed at Summoners with teams of Rank 3 6-Stars, but since we changed directions on that, we decided to make it easier and put a clear measuring stick on Roster Progression.

Just gonna put this out there.

New Cavalier Shard Calendar replaces your GMC Shard Calendar

This should be part of Cavalier. If we are being honest with the 6* quantity gates being Cavalier should make it easier to have a slim chance at a 6*.

Maybe do what you did with the other shard. Cavalier you get 1 every 2 weeks, and with this new title you get one every week.

Yes people are upset and rightfully so. My biggest issue is the Cavalier crystal replacing the GMC. That should have happened with the Cavalier title. Simple and small things like that would be super appreciated and go a long way in making the community and community managers, like yourself, be united. This weekly crystal change while small is a slap in the face. The only option we have outside of chapter rewards AS Cavalier progressed players is to spend on them. Offering 1 every 2 weeks wouldn’t break the game simply because of the drop rates. But would help players like myself who need more 6*’s to progress in story content.

Just my thoughts on the matter.

They are meant to be separate. They are 2 fold here. We could have just made it get 1x Rank 3, but then somewhere down the line, people will get Rank 3s before they complete Act 6, and that doesn't hit both milestones.

I've read through some of the posts in this thread.. I can understand why some people are upset about this new title and how we can obtain it. I think the following is a little problematic...

For those who have already obtained the title.. it will be taken away (and replaced). A new condition has been created in order to obtain the title which has already been earned. Something just seems wrong about that.. for those who already obtained Throne Breaker.. they should be able to keep that title.. and the new title of Breaker of Thrones should be awarded to all those who meet all requirements..

The fact that you claim 6* are rolling in faster than before is a bit misleading. Most of us get one maybe two 6* a month max. Unless you rank in high plat or masters in war or are generous with 6* shards in side quests most of us are not opening that many 6*. Couple that with the 90% trash that is in that pool.

My last two months of 6* pulls have been:

Iron Patriot
Cull
Blue Cyclops
OG DD awakening
Electro

Not exactly usable material for anything other than arena points.

Argument about the 6r3 requirement aside (I agree it’s BS), can you please change the Cav crystal calendar to 7 days instead of 14? The most annoying part of the uncollected title was no longer being able to open one free crystal a week. I know it’s a small thing, but that’s the change I really want to see. Also, with this new title, does this mean we will see a full t5cc in the Odins on Cyber Weekend? Because I’m gonna be honest, the timing of this seems like you just want to secure more sales on Cyber Weekend without allowing lower level Cavalier players access to the higher tier resources. Which is fine in my opinion, but I just want to know that as a Throne Breaker that I’ll actually be getting deals that are worth my time when my main focus is advancing my six star roster.

With the introduction of Cavalier Difficulty, this is not misleading. It's simply true. More 6-Star Shards are available than ever before, and that's not even including the addition to Incursions.

Honestly, if you guys want people to 100% Abyss before getting this title, do it. It just makes way more sense than involving RNG into titles.
