@Lvernon15 the numbers i mentioned are merely a suggestion .. what iam trying to say is it can be bit easier to gain first charge as him at r5 is becoming useless with current damage potential at zero persistant charges .like its taking almost 5 mins to kill champ that has such health with nil.charges
There are very few champs that are good for all game content. Corvus is designed for burst damage but the penalty for that quick burst is the long period of low damage. Its the reason he isn't used for content like lol. Asking for more glave charges each time the health pool goes up would be a never ending request. Corvus does what he does great but he shouldn't be capable of killing every opponent in 1 run of glave charges. As the health pools rise you will have to look to other characters like Aegon for those big numbers. He is a well balanced character as is for later content.
Don't act as if you can't play around the Glaive charge cap. Also, every champion needs some or the other kind of drawback, right? Let me give you an example: Guillotine 2099 has amazing damage, but it takes a while to build it up. Corvus' drawback is the exact opposite of this. He can access his guaranteed crits at the very beginning of the fight, but there's a limit to how many guaranteed crits he gets.
Giving characters some kind of drawback also gives them some or the other kind of playstyle. The playstyle acts as a minigame that's exclusive to the character you're using. Let me give you another example: Omega Red has monsterous damage, but he needs to stay near the opponent, manage his death spores and launch the heavy attack at the perfect time to degen the opponent. That's his minigame. With Corvus, his minigame is all about managing the Glaive charges until he gets to an SP2. People either do a M-L-M combo or a M-L combo until they get to an SP2, and they launch that special.
While I don’t think he should be tweaked - for the simple fact that I think he’s perfect the way he is - you mention a good point, that in the future, 5/65 corvus is going to become obsolete. So rather than a tweak, a synergy or node integration on a path or two to increase crit damage for guaranteed crits (or something along the lines) would be nice to help keep him relevant.
To be clear - I’m not saying he should be buffed. I think he’s great as he is. But I do think in the future he could have something external that keeps him at least usable.
I can see where you’re coming from. Mine doesn’t really get much use either because of it because I’ve don’t really use suicides. Despite this he’s still one of the best options for both AQ bc and AW and if there is an early charge he is still viable. ML combos give you 2 sp2 per set of charges.
Sorry, but with suicides he has no problem at all in higher content. Corvus is the sole reason I have completed act 6. He cleared every path. in 6.4 he just needs a 200% boost. But a r3 should be fine.

Buff Corvus? One of the most OP champs in the entire game
