Its one of many different events, calendars, gifts and permanent bits of content being released this month so you can’t take it out of context and ignore everything else you get this month.
And if bad crystal openings make you feel like not playing, dont play, quit or take a break, whatever you want to do.
Sorry but if you add in the shard arenas, this is pretty much a normal side quest. And the actual side quest is shorter to compensate. Rank up stuff is a bit lower, but in context with everything else it’s fine
So the cavs are just an added bonus. I see no reason to complain about an added bonus, even if it is RNG
I personally enjoy spinning cavalier crystals, not even for the rewards but the anticipation gives me enjoyment. I rarely get to open them because I’d save my units to clear content. Haven’t pulled any champs above 4* but I still enjoy them. Pulling a new 2020 champ as 3* is good enough for me. Plus, there’s so much more coming out this month to look forward to

Funny because whenever anyone points out the fact that you ignore all points made, you get all defensive about it being an open forum for anyone to comment... I’m fully aware that your issue is that you got nothing in your cav crystals, but newsflash mate, people get shafted by rng on this game every day and you tell them to suck it up, don’t cry because the roles are reversed.
I enjoyed this quick easy way of earning 18 chances at the brand new champs, so I’m going to defend it because I don’t want kabam thinking everyone hates it. Was a great event, quick, easy and satisfies my want to open cav crystals. I’ll take this over something with ‘better rewards‘ like mole man expeditions that’s also an unbearably long slog any day of the week.
From side quest crystals I got 5* Sasquatch and Spider-Ham but next day from 6* crystal got Juggernaut...we win some, we lose some... that's just how game works.
