I mean. If looking at you tube is all we need to do, why does everyone advice to duel the champion to get the sp1 dex down first? His complaints are valid. It's just not worth looking into for everyone.
Because you can actually practice. In the videos, you can pause the video to write down the node info. You can study said node info.

So the people that have the ability to spend massive amounts on the game should have a separate bracket as well? That's not something someone can just choose to do when they don't have the money to do so.

It's just a silly point. You can't cherry pick advantages you're personally okay with and then want to disqualify another. It's either level or it doesn't actually matter
No. Spenders don't need a separate bracket. It's like giving one person a peek at the questions before the exams. You may change 1 or 2 questions but you still give the kid an advantage. I don't know how else to explain this.

But legend runs don't happen at the same time. To use that same analogy, I can watch seatins run and take notes. That gives me an advantage over him because I saw the answers. People post their times on here as well. Should those posts be taken down so no one knows what times to try and beat?

I fully understand there's an advantage if someone chooses to use it. Don't think I ever argued against that once. All I said is the advantage doesn't actually matter as it's not a remotely even playing field to begin with.

You are correct legend runs don't happen at the same time. Brian grant for example takes as long as possible to do it after I assume studying various runs. Again watching a run and doing a run before the actual race is different.

Ultimately it all comes down to this. Unless there is a separate champ that no one has faced like champion boss or grandmaster is placed in the beta that cannot be practiced again, being in a beta gives a very slight advantage that may not even be noticeable.

I have never been invited to a beta and don't watch beta gameplay too. I think we can agree the advantage is too good if it is a unique fight that cannot be practiced out of beta. If on the other hand it is like 6.3 where we had all the champions available to be duelled and the nodes already available in other content, it should be OK.

Here’s a better analogy. If we’re on American Ninja Warrior, and I get to run the course as many times as I want before qualifiers, and you get to watch the footage and let me describe it to you, who has the major advantage? Sure, you could work out more, and be more agile, but you can’t beat hours of practice. Same way spenders with r3s are allowed, but beta testing isn’t as fair. You can work to give yourself a starting advantage, but you can’t pass the advantage of practice.
