Let me get this straight for years we the community asked for Basic 5* arena and your answer was not possible but suddenly you guys found a way to release a 6* feature and basic 6* instead 🤦♂️

Why did Kabam not add any ARENA questions, at all? @Kabam Miike@Kabam Zibiit This would give any insight in the current balance issues regarding any changes at all. Ps, any update or estimate would be helpful, for me this basicly has downtime my playtime by 65% (what is also making me second geuss why i even love this game!) since the grind for arena is not something i find fun at all.
How is it that a multi million company that can place technology in place to stop cheating in legends run in story quest not place those same measure in every aspect of the game and make it as fair as possible across the board is straight up ridiculous. Anyways that’s my rant.
Well said , they should implement the same technology "or" practices in these new arenas as well ..and remove the reward off the illegitimate winner account and hand it over to whoever next in line.
I hate this Arena guys. I did not fully regconize how bad it is until recently when I became busier and I can not get anything good from it during the limited time I had for grinding. This sh need to be fixed really.

Old: (if using the ideal champs) trials: ~37 3*: ~37 (if not boosted) basic: 43 featured: 45 featured 5*: 60 Total rounds: 222
New: (if using the ideal champs) trials: ~55 basic: ~80 featured: ~80 Total rounds: 215
The problem lies in the fact that for this you need a huge amount of 6* champs. And you also need to use them twice a day probably. If you do the total of 6 times, you would roughly need 27 teams of 6* champs (81 champs) and there are only few people that have that. And again who has to time to run 27 rounds twice a day. For me it is the evening and early in the morning, but for a lot of people the first round is around lunch time, or in other words, the time they are at work. In the old system you could easily build enough teams to only do arena ones a day. And there was only 1 arena, which also had lower milestones, where you might have to play twice a day, but only for around 10 rounds in 1 of those times.
Hope they come up with a good solution, I hope they scale to basic arena back to 5* max. And maybe scale the units up in the trials arena for collected players. Scaling the basic arena back, including the milestones would also give newly uncollected players the chance to get some milestones and maybe go for the basic champions with their roster of 4* and a couple of 5* champs.
The featured is fine as it is, since he also need to look at the future, and that could be the arena a lot of players build their roster up towards.

Bro I didn’t want to be rude but I am breaker of throne and have done 7.1 100% and I have only 39 6* champs now tell me how I am able to complete those 6* arena in 80 streaks? It cost me more than 135 streaks per arena it’s much more time that I was have to used in old
He said ideal champs. I think he means 6 star R2 as an average. 70k per champ *3 champs =210k per round. 210k* 80 rounds will be 16.8 mill. Depending on where your 6 stars are, it may take more or less, so he has approximated that. P.S: I think you mean Thronebreaker and not Breaker of thrones. Those are 2 different things. The complaints about the arena not being good for low and medium sized rosters are valid. I can hit the milestones every time, but it takes significantly longer times to hit them. This is the second week of these arenas. Let's see how the response will be from Kabam after they look at the data.

One of our goals in this refresh was to keep the number of fights/series required to hit the Milestones more or less equal to what it was before, and the milestones would change based on the ability to use higher Rarity Champions in more Arenas.
While it’s too early to see exactly what the effect is through Data, you’ve all let us know that the current Milestones require more time and effort to obtain than the previous ones.
There are many reasons behind this, including higher point values, multiple Arenas allowing the use of 4,5, and 6-Star Champions, and more Milestone thresholds.
While we don’t have a plan in place for how we want to address these concerns, we want to assure you all that we are exploring a number of options to address your concerns, and are committed to reducing the Grind once again.
We’re going to do our best, but it’s important to note that in some cases, things may still require a little more effort for some Summoners than before. Because everybody is at a different place in their progression, it is very difficult to come up with a solution that addresses the situation for every Summoner.
We won’t be able to address this right away, and there will be more Arenas like this before we can implement a new plan.
There is additional feedback on other topics, and we will continue to explore those, especially after this first iteration of the new Arena ends, but don’t have anything to share on that at this time.
ok, i think i might have misunderstood you, sir. Do you mean that there will be no plans to revert back to old arena structure because the game team believe that this new arena structure is in our best interest?
The 3 Arena System is unlikely to change (but not totally out of the question), but there's plenty of wiggle room within that system. A reversion would mean moving away from a 5/6 Star Basic, and a 6 Star Featured, and I don't think people want that, but do want changes to the current system.
@Nemesio you must realise that is not a possibility. The amount of free units was already plenty big, if it would add another arena which provided 135 units also it would increase even more. We could already get 55640 units if we did the milestones a year. That does not take into account battlechips and the catalyst arena. Adding 1 arena in the old system would increase that by another 14040. I still think the current system is wrong, but reverting to the old system and adding another arena on top of it is not the solution. More and more accounts could get all milestones without any problems. They obviously noticed this in their unit sales and thus had to do something to prevent easy unit gain. They decided to still allow the players that either spend a lot of money, or that have been playing for a long time and that have a good roster to get all the units, or atleast close to it. While cutting back the newer and lower players. They have just gone overboard with it. They have essentially made arena's that players can do in about a year.
Having 1 6 star arena at 16.5m is fine. It might take 80 6 star teams now to reach all milestones. But soon, when we rank them up higher and higher it might only take 65 rounds for 200 units. That is on the same scale as the old arena's. They just shouldn`t have made 2 of those arena's and kept it at 1.

The 3 star arena could be lower in units but will allow lower level players to get the featured champ as a 3 star. Or players that just refuse to become uncollected at this point. Lower the basic and featured to 180 untis and put those 40 into the 3 star arena. Same amount of total units, somewhat more easy availability. and 4 total rarities that have a useful place.

If this arena structure is going to be permanent then it is time to say goodbye. I'm F2P and will not be strong-armed into shelling out money to advance in what appears to be a purely greed driven move by KABAM.
The bottom line is I enjoy playing the game, but do not consider it worth spending any money on. Quite frankly the game is way too low quality to justify it.
Imo the game is great, but with these arena changes made me stop doing any, I’m a “casual” spender whom buys sigil and a budget of 100-200€ on 4th and Black Friday. I noticed how much time arena cost while I’m on a break.
The game have got a bad taste for me personally. I’ve cleared almost everything 100% aside from abyss/carina challenge with this change I’m not even going to attempt. This is having a domino effect on me. I’ve posted allot here and have been keeping track on comments and kabam reaction. To find any spark left. Ashamed to say that I even bought a new phone on iOS 12 series with no effect since the game is preforming bad, with consequences wich require units ofcourse for content like aw/aq. It just keeps adding up.

Here is how you fix the issue. For the featured Keep all the milestones generally the same but put all the units and gold within the first 7.5 million points or so. Keep the shards and the milestone champs where they are. Rank rewards should stay the same.
For the basic do the same with milestones but also open up the champ more to the player base to get the champ. Allow the top 5% to get it as a 6* and top 10% as a five star. There isn’t harm in it because it isn’t a new champ and it would open up the availability of the champ to players to complete content or expand their roster.
A rather easy fix is to just change the 6 star basic arena to 5 star basic arena end limit the champs to 5 and 4 stars. The milestones of that arena can be the same as what 4 star featured arena used to be. Change the 6 star featured arena milestone to 12 mill. The units, bc and the shards can be distributed as per earlier milestones. This will make the grind for units less as per Kabam's intention since 2,3 and 4 star arenas have been combined, it will also make the big account players happy since they can now grind for new 6 stars and it will make unit grinders happy since the grind is now less. It makes 5 stars more accessible for developing players also. I have no idea who asked for a 6 star basic arena. I know people have been asking for a 5 star basic arena for a long time.
There is no point in all this discussion, they don't even bother to reply. The only way for them to listen is stop spending, give negative ratings on app store, tag and ask them continually about Arena update on twitter and facebook. This post is useless now.
Ha, first two, three days I was here hourly. Then with weekend and second round just daily to see if there is an orange reply. Today I even skipped a day.I haven't played arena in a while now and because of it I'm only doing AQ and daily auto... that's about it. I see similar things in few alliances and quite a few people taking full breaks from the game. I predict a LOT of AQ shuffling and recruiting to come in very near future...
My constructive feedback is do not just adjust the milestones, this is not going to bring players like me back that think the current format is just plain ol' stupid. The format is not relevant to majority of people and milestones won't fix it.
Please consider the tiered "3 arenas" for all summoners according to their level. Similar to how you do incursion tier rewards. Based on number of certain level champs, you unlock next tier of arena (but also lock lowest) so that every summoner has access to 3 arenas that is significant to their progression.
If format doesn't change completely in a meaningful way it's likely that I'll slow down completely through the summer and join some of the folks in full break mode...
I soooooo cant believe you removed the basic arena that in itself was a grind. . . Buuut then to add these its jst not worth the time or effort and u do this jst before July lols is actually crazy. . . for f2p players and the smaller players is actually really sad I wouldn't be wasting the time it take to hit a starting point of 250k points which then jst means less amount to spend come July. Its one of the times even I spend in game buuuut now i can't see it. Its taking all my strength not to jst rage quit. This is one thing you really didn't think about. Sure add a 6* arena but don't remove the 1 arena most ppl did. Even if they didn't do the others, the basic ones most did. Its actually kinda sad again cos it always seems to be the bigger accs to benefit, same as the content is never a balance between the skilled players and the others lols.... Its about time kabam actually thought about all of its players.
