Is there any announcement or a date for the buff of these champions?

    I don’t think it will be sooner, and if it is, it won’t be by much. I don’t think you realize just how long and hard the whole process designing a character kit from ground up really is.

    First of all, they need to develop a concept to build off of. Then they have to actually put said concept into a character kit with abilities that makes the character unique on at least some level. Then they need to add numerical values to said abilities, and then program it to make sure they work with the many, many, many interactions with the over 200 characters that are in this game (or will be).

    After they do that, they need to go through rigorous testing with multiple different nodes and characters to not only make sure everything is working properly, but to also make sure the character is balanced. If the latter part fails, they simply revisit the programing and fix it. But if the former fails the test, they have to completely re-evaluate the character to reassess the numerical values put on the character and maybe even the abilities of the character as a whole depending on how severe the imbalances are. After they make that evaluation, they go through more rigorous testing to repeat the process until they reach a satisfactory point.

    Making and buffing characters is not as easy as you might think.

    Plus you have to remember they're currently working on material for 3 months from now which includes event quests, new champs and buffs to older Champs so that means it's going to wait until October or November and that's it.

    Groot has many of this abilities, and Korg is not much better than him as an attacker.

    Antman all the way.. I do have 5* Guillotine og but I like Antman a 'tiny' bit more.. (mind the pun).

    Groot has many of this abilities, and Korg is not much better than him as an attacker.
    Groot doesn't have armor break. Only has one immunity. Can't tank sp3s.
    Only unblockable special is his sp2, with pitiful Regen. Groot has 55% shrugoff duration, while Korg has (sig dependant) 30.58-69.99% chance of purifying a debuff.

    I'm in act 6 tyvm.
    I'm just saying, there is more to individual champs than just their defensive value. People need to actually not disregard a champ because "X hits harder than Y champ, thusly Y is trash". It's a stupid mentality.

    The last two new champs were capable of infinite combos; I don't think the testing phase is as rigorous as you think it is.
