We’ve put up with content that wasn’t aimed at us for 18 months, now it’s the Cavs turn to put up with content that isn’t aimed at you. If you want to complain, by all means go ahead. But it won’t really be received well.
Just do the content that you have left to do and quit whining because people better than me or you have something to challenge them.
Why do you think it’s called summer of pain? If you could safely parry everything then it’d just be a cakewalk that many could do blindfolded
Either having vastly inferior champs that require 10-20 minutes per fight is challenging or it isn’t, need to make up your mind
Would you rather them have gated it behind TB?
I like playing Dark Souls, I think it's fun. I've watched a guy complete all the Soulsborne games one after the other without taking a single hit in any of the games or they had to start from the beginning of the first game over again, I don't think that's fun but it's certainly a challenge. Are we both playing the same game series? Yes. Are we both having fun doing things in the series? Yes. Am I going to have fun trying do his challenge? No.
Also you're posting on a public thread. You're talking to everyone.
Literally just watched a dude with a R4 5* She Hulk solo this Rogue. Even I can get her down to below 40% with my R4 She Hulk and I'm not particularly skilled.
So yes. We can disagree with your opinion, and we can also share our opinion that it's your lack of skill.
It’s the first day, and lots of people have posted solos with a variety of champions. If you can’t solo fine, that’s the point. It’s meant to be hard, that’s why the rewards are so good for it.
It’s up to you whether you want to practice and use it as an opportunity to grow as a player. Maybe you’ll have to use items, that’s your choice. But if you come here and complain, especially when kabam have made it so gosh darn clear this is meant to be hard - you aren’t going to find many people who agree with you. And that means you will get told some stuff you won’t want to hear. That you are wrong, that maybe you’re just not ready for it.
I've played this game every days since December-ish 2014. I've been on these forums since the old, original forums.
I've seen a lot. What I see more than anything is players like you that can't 1-shot a fight and call.it garbage, not worth the effort, isn't for the designated title, cash grab or whatever fancy phrase you're using as an excuse instead asking for help when you can't take down a defender. We're seeing it right now with Blade in the MEQ.
The event has been out for 6 hours. You have 6.5 days left. Maybe keep trying different tactics. Watch some YouTube videos etc.. Maybe you'll actually learn something. 🤷
Cavaliers can do this. If you haven't learned to intercept by now, you're in for a shock when you go to do 7.2 which is objectively easier than Abyss or even Act 6.
This is a only mildly harder than some of the fights you get in Act 6.3. Which might I add, was made before Thronebreaker.
Instead of complaining on the forums, go and practice. Put your thumbs to use in game instead of spouting your opinion off like you're talking for every Cav player and disregarding their skills and their ability to actually play the game and complete difficult content.
This was before 6* r3 was even a thing, let alone the Thronebreaker title. Since then, tons of new champions who can handle this fight have been released.
I literally just facetanked the whole fight with Dragon Man just to see that I could. It was super easy. I used my 6* r2, but could have just as easily used a 5/65. It took a little while, but it wasn’t bad at all.
So yes, Cavalier players with 5/65 champions can do it. Because that’s who did it the first time around.
