Am I going crazy or does the AI know how to "shallow evade" and intercept thereafter? They also do this with specials. Also sometimes they just run at you and if you dash in you either get parried or intercepted? But mostly I've seen the shallow evade way more this month than before. Anyone have similar experiences?

Speaking of, this individual has never been a fan of the menacing jog of interception. Even RoL AI will light-intercept you with great precision. Quite rude, indeed.
The instant reaction from user inputs (dashing back, etc) is annoying too, but I've gotten used to that.
That said, I'm not sure I'm opposed to it. To a degree. High level AI for high level content kind of makes sense. To a degree. What that degree is, is where the debate lies.
Haven’t noticed this in war but I tend to take zero risks in my war fights so maybe that’s why.
Was doing variant today and noticed I don't get parries. On closer inspection I observed the defender running to me and making a stop for like 0,1s or less and only hitting after that, so it counts as a regular block.
Go ahead, blame this one on input lag.
couple that with random AI and it's unsettling.
I really need to start recording my fights, will be a pleasure to see what mental gymnastics they would go through to deny those.
Old AI was bad, but the new is even worst.
And ofc there was "never" a speed up for the AI so they can do stuff like this:
