Like carina challenges so dumb that random champs that in five years i still haven’t got be the reason i can’t complete them !

    Yep.

    To be fair though, if there is only one objective per week (did they ever say that? I feel like it would make sense but I can’t remember) then they probably couldn’t give out specific champs as rewards that could be used for later weeks. The mechanics of this would be rough.

    As a side note, i wonder if the objectives will have any other rewards besides the 1 (or more) point(s) that goes towards the SOP event.

    Bad RNG has always been a thing and there's no bad luck protection for Inhumans and canadians like the objective that gives starlord.

    It's permanent content so I don't have a problem with it but I still think it's poor design to have something so RNG reliant for "skill-based" challenges
    You get my point 100% i’m missing sabretooth! Rng crystal can be so unfair an easy example proff hoff on 5* red guardian no idea how many times his tried, I myself have tried more than 60 skill/mutant for sabretooth no luck !

    Given the new Arena system, the right 4* champs will be available for everyone eventually. But I really agree that no objective should be champion-specific. No one should be punished for not having a particular champion ranked up and ready to go.

    However, I did like the "Defeat Mordo with only Cosmic champs" Carina Challenge and wouldn't mind seeing something similar here. Beat some Science champ with only a 4* Mystic, for example.

    Isn't roster development part of the game? Why do people want content to be tuned to their particular roster. You can introduce this gate, but not this gate. If you are thronebreaker, you should have a decent roster with all the champs at this point as a 3 or 4 star. Remember they gave those challenges as a 3 or 4 star as champion specific. The only 5 star challenge that was very champion specific was kamala one and we got that in one of the challenges. The 6.1.5 challenge with mutants, you could use any of the mutants specified.
    If it was a 3 or 4 star challenge, I won't mind it. If it is a 5 star challenge, i won't still mind, buy I understand that not everyone has every 5 star.

    That would not be a popular one even though it will make it more challenging. I don't mind that to be honest. But I definitely see a specific class or champ to 3 star or a 4 star challenge. Unless you have rushed through everything without developing a roster, you should have 70% of the champs as 3 stars and about the same as 4 stars.

    I am sorry that you got that from my post. That was not my message. I meant that kabam have provided avenue for getting the champ if the challenge is champ specific. So, champion specific challenges should not be eliminated outright. That is my take.
    Also, what is a true thronebreaker? 😂. I said a TB player should have most of the champs unless you have rushed content. Even I am missing some 4 stars.

    And that's the problem with champ specific gates. You have most of them but not all. If the challenge is on a 7 day timer it's a ridiculous ask to go and find a 4 star and then rank it all the way up. They didn't provide Canadian or inhuman 4 stars in the carina challenges btw
    That is because of the wide range of tags. You will notice they provided speicific champs like cyclops, loki or kamala because they were specific quests. For Canadian or inhuman, it is enough if you have even 1 or 2 out of 5 or 6 to complete the challenge. You can say sabertooth and sasquash can finish the Canadian one in less revives, but that is a case for every non specific challenge in that game. Ghost can finish a path item less, people who don't have ghosy use other champs and some items.

    Kabam could easily throw in an objective in the fourth week to provide a champion that can be used for the fifth week. Problem solved. Please don't tell me you cant find the resources to rank up to max a 3 star or r4 a 4 star within a week.

    To everyone that is on about the carina challenges and that you do not get every champ. The chances of people not having a single inhuman or a single canadian champ as 4 star is close to 0. So by simply starting somewhere, every single thronebreaker can do every single carina challenge. I`m not saying it is smart to do it with a team of just Karnak, but it would count. So it is not impossible. And every champion that is specifically needed is given via the other challenges.

    However, I agree it should not be part of SOP. Like use Venompool. Rather, use a symbiote or something along those lines. And only use tags that have atleast 3 or so useful options that people will probably have ranked up.

    It’s still a week before we get any objectives in SoP and you’ll have a week to complete it. If you haven’t already, start hoarding rankup materials just in case we do get a champion specific challenge.

    I don’t want to see it either, but there are things we can do as players to try to be prepared.
