I honestly don't have the patience for this fight...mainly because her attack value is way to high. The best run I had at her I got her down to like 89% then she intercepted me and hit me with a medium leg sweep and I was koed(full health bar) U can't design a fight with no weakness. No power control. No armor break, no dot. No quake no ghost and she's not metal . Like play perfect is the only option. It's absolutely ridiculous I should be able to take at least one five hit combo and survive. Really bad fight design. You can ghost her and dot works fine, ibomb is one of the best options, i got a solo with him

This fight is arguably the best fight for SoP across all the fights so far. No cheese, no “correct” counters. Pure skill.

Thats what happens when everyone complains about the previous fights being too easy. The fights go completely 360. We all know there is no “In between” in regards to difficulty set for this game . I knew this would happen

Then the fight isn't designed for you. Let others have their fun.
The solo is very possible but it may take alot or restarts.
G2099 Solo with about 250 hits (5/65): Simple plan was just spam Sp2 to build hits faster, don't use any pre fights and mine is awakened so her sig does help if you mess up. People really underestimate how damn useful her combo shield is when awaken. No it's not just a chance to save her combo. the most important part of G2099's sig is when ever ANY combo shield is up (sig or heavy attacks) she takes ONLY 10% damage from anything but SP3. So you know what? I didn't play perfectly and took some specials to take face but you know what? G2099 took only 10% of her health in damage cuz of me using heavy attacks at some points in the fight and her sig working. Plus her regen just makes it so mistakes aren't the end of the world.
Kingpin Solo with 331 hits exactly (5/65): Since KP has passive regen with Willpower it was a SLOW fight but mostly safe. I just spammed SP1s only because for alot of the fight, his basic attacks were doing the same or less damage than the Black ISO tick damage so yeah. Slow play, spam SP1s and he can block some things as well to make it less stressed.
Solo with Human Torch (5/65): This was by far the hardest for me since unlike the other two, he doesn't have any safety net (no damage cap or regen). Took the most restarts to find a groove. The basic idea I wanted to try was to build his smolders up so his nove flames did more damage. It was a mix of blocking the first part of her SP1 since it's energy damage and at times when she's blocking I'd use his sp1 into her block from far. I wasn't worried about doing damage any other way aside from his Nove Flame passives so building smolders was my #1 priority. It worked but there were times where I got her to 20% or 10% and restarted cuz I did want that solo. But yeah, possible but annoying. A R2 6 star HT would have been better from the attack and health boost and the adrenalin for the little regen cuz he gets chipped down over the fight.
To me the biggest issues with this fight was indeed that stupid Oscillate node. That alone makes her AI annoyingly unpredictable so it was hard to guess when she would do what so when she was in her defense mode I just stayed far away from her and held block with all 3 champs. If she dashed in, I dexed and held block again till she was close to her offense phase to which I dropped my block and she threw her specials. I always let her have at least 1 bar of power while in defensive mode to do this. Yes at times she threw the odd special in defense mode while I was blocking but it wasn't to bad for all 3 since G2099 has the armor and regen, KP has regen and HT would get more smolders and the damage from SP1 while she was defensive wasn't that much.
P.S. I would recommend using Ibom instead of HT cuz he also has that passive regen and taking blocked hits isn't as bad due to the weakness he places.

I am having an issue I haven't had before with Emma fights and it doesn't happen all of the time. I dex the two hits for the SP1 and then when I go into attack my attacker moves back instead of forward. Doesn't happen every time but probably has been about 50%.

A lot of people would say that is the perfect design for end game content.
You can't have that kind of thing roadblocking players in standard progressional content. But we're talking about (what was supposed to be) high end optional content. Furthermore, we're talking about the eighth fight in a series of nine high end optional content fights. If the ninth fight is even harder, that would still mean seven out of nine fights in the SoP series had relatively easy roster counters. That's a huge percentage of the fights that could be cheesed without extremely high skill.
Seven of nine fights gets you to milestone 5, which is a 6* Nexus and two 25% T5C selectors.

I like this fight far more than I did sym Supreme. Those were some rng objectives,especially rhe cosmic one. Unless you had good rng, you could not get a solo. I tried domino so far and got 20% off. I gave up on solo of sym Supreme after trying hyp for a very long time. This fight I think I can get solo for all the objectives.

Yup. But if you’re slightly slower for the last back swipe (the front front back to evade and counter her sp1), the reverse controls would be over and you move backwards. This tends to happen when you wait a little for the recovery animation after her sp1.
This is just so annoying... they need to nerf it and remove kinetic transference ffs
No nerfing the summer of pain. If you can't do it you can't do it, but this content was advertised as challenging to the top of the top and it mostly hasn't been.
