Yes I do find it very difficult, especially the Agent Venom and Knull, but I wouldn’t mind spending revives for the last 2 paths, but I’m only gonna do them with a R5 Summoned Symbiote, even a R4 could cost double the revives after the seeing its difficulty
It's disappointing that we have to get through hell to get him to r5, something that I stopped hoping for, and doing only the Epic paths in SQ. And the result is, a 5* crystal? Since I don't think I ll be able to complete the horror's last path with a r4 Steve..
Have you tried the legendary Sym Spidey quest?
I already lost 3 entries because of legendary paths, I don't want to lose any more by trying new paths, and also wasting opportunities for the smaller (epic) rewards...
trust me i agree that the up in difficulty seems a bit much. but i do have to say the daily rewards are pretty good plus you can choose which one you want. i've been doing the sym spidey quest for a week now and not a single item used. just keep on pushing and have confidence that you can do it
Same . It’s a really badly designed quest . I get that Kabam wants to hook the no lifers with this stuff but they seem to forget that most of their players come to have fun and they are just as valuable even if they don’t spend as much cash as the no lifers . Here is to hoping next month gets better and they stop trying to be original
Most of the players of this game just play, and spend zero time complaining about it. The vast overwhelming majority of players have never made a post on Reddit, never made a post here, probably haven't even read either, and just enjoy playing the game without worrying about optimizing everything or getting depressed when they don't. That's like 90% of all the players in the game, and they are all doing fine.
If you're here, and you're discussing the game with any frequency, then compared to the vast majority of the players of the game you're part of the no-lifers with too much time on your hands. We're all part of the marginal <10% that have time to do more than just play a fun game for what it is, and stop there.
If someone is here, and spending any time complaining about the game, I don't think they really are in a position to throw stones at the players who spend, grind, or read the content announcements.

Agreed. Everybody else would just be like "Meh.." and move on with their day or even another game.
Gotta remember ,..Steve is here to stay. Different levels of summoners aren’t necessarily going to be able to do the legendary quests required to max rank him…BUT,..I’m certain there will be more opportunities to rank/ level him up.
…Also, cosmic horror is decent. It is letting us get used to our summoned symbiote and his pre fight capabilities…everyone should give it a chance and not give up on it,..it’s a lot of fun once you get into the rhythm .
That's not exactly right. The game pushes you to visit and use the forums, there's a "find out more" message in every in game update, probably because they try to build and sustain a community, so there's thousands of players visiting frequently. When and if they decide to participate and talk, is a completely different matter. Personally I was visiting the forums for a couple of years, and I started posting during last year's quarantine.
I decided to push through and drained my units and pots a lot lower than I would have liked. Was gonna save for my birthday, but I popped a featured to try to end it on a high note
Idk. There are for sure worse champs, but I don’t think I’m gonna use her anytime soon. Also opened a 5* skill mutant crystal in hopes of someone decent. (Gunning for the 5 or 6* Apoc.) duped my storm. 3/10 experience. I miss the times when side quests were actually side quests. More laid back. Less reading nodes and having to deal with dumb interactions.

There's a few thousand players that visit the forums, maybe a few times that use the Reddit. There's on the order of a million players, plus or minus. If you look at the thread that announces the September side objectives leading into the October events, that thread has (as I write this) 91.7k views. That's a thread that's been active for about two months and that includes a lot of repeat views. The October thread has only 50k views, and threads with less posting activity (which would be refreshed and revisited less often) like the Summoner Showdown 2021 announcement have 5.6k views.
Another way to estimate the percentage of players who visit the forums is to compare download data to forum sign up data. It is actually possible to see how many people are joining the forums for the first time: this is listed in the activity page. Looking at the last thirty days, 6808 people have joined the forums in the last 30 days. Sensor Tower estimates 200k downloads of the game in September, which implies approximately 3.4% of the people who download the game subsequently join the forums. That number probably has significant error bars, but even accounting for that the participation ratio is clearly very low.
I think one thing that would have made all of this quest a lot more enjoyable was if the rewards could all be picked up along the way instead of only when you veer off towards one of the Knull bosses. That way, you could pick up as much as you could handle in one go without having to go through the whole gauntlet again and again and again and again. If you couldn't handle the final path, no worries, just veer off towards the penultimate Knull boss and pick up all but the last rewards.
Either that or being able to start on the second path if you've completed the first (or third, if you've completed the second etc) with all of the persistent charges that you would have gained up until then unlocked. Just something so that you didn't have to run through the same exact content countless times. That, more than the difficulty of any one particular lane, is what makes me tired of this quest.
Took a revive and few pots. I don't think its anywhere near a stash draining quest. Once all prefights are on he hits like a truck.Boss is straight forward as well

That's pretty interesting, it is a big number by itself the 50k for example, even 6k joining a mobile game forum if we talking for new players, is also big. I would like to see the comparison with other mobile gaming forums though, we can't compare with..don't know, a Bethesda forum, obviously.

Fights were fun tbh, steve’s pre-fights makes this quest a different experience. Kabam 🥦 did an awesome job
Rewards are great for difficulty level. I can finally r3 Peni

Or is it like if you have claimed rewards on one path, cannot re-enter or claim any other rewards?

🙃 it gives him his amazing armour rating reduction increasing with sig allowing him to do more and more damage
