IMIW, in SQ, is tearing me a new one. Any help is appreciated.

As the title states, I'm struggling to get past this IMIW. I can clear each path with almost full health, but he blasts through my team like they're made of paper.

What team did you use/tactics did you deploy?

    Sadly not. My Angela is unduped, as is my low rank Corvus (only recently pulled him). My Moleman is only 5* R3.

    I tried using AA, Psylocke (for the Romance synergy), CGR, Doom, and Ultron.

    Torch (romance with Rogue) - prefight and heavy counter? Herc (romance with Wolvie) - l1 gives the true sense buff, won't get autoblocked?

    the team i took and completed with relative ease Corvus, Herc, Wolverine, OG Black Panther and Falcon

    You can pretty much use any champs against him

    Just need to understand d nodes (which i didnt read until saw this post)

    Stampede: Get around this by not hitting into his block, and/or heavy intercepting him. Spacing and timing is key.
    Hold your block to force his heavy then heavy him to oblivion is one way of doin it

    Ebb & Flow: Again by heavy intercepting him this will be removed

    Others are nothing special so good luck

    Hercules use his Sp1 to disable IMIW's auto block

    I used Magneto. I believe there’s also a node allowing you to go temporarily unblockable.

    I used Hercules the first run with no romance synergy. Put Wolverine on the team for the second run and was going to use Herc again but decided to try Angela and she got him down. I didn't bring Magneto but I expect he would get it done easily.

    Magneto,.,heavy while IMIW is doing his. May not be able to parry but mags shuts down everything else auto block included. I just fought him like a regular fight and spammed sp2’s…easy one shot with mags OG .

    If you are close to him you don't need to re-parry. His first medium is non contact but if he starts his combo with a light hit it can be parried normally. But heavy countering is the main thing.

    Sersi worked really well for me. Got him down to like 10% then finished off with herc.

    1. Bring in romance synergy champ, one pair is good enough
    2. If you don’t know how to fight IMIW, always block and wait for his heavy, and time your heavy on him
    3. You must know how to dex his SP1 and / or SP2, both are not difficult to dex
    4. Suggest a champ to you is a waste of time if I don’t know which you have in roster, simply check out some old YouTube guide on how to fight IMIW
