if we see an objective like "complete a path of abyss only using 5* Thunderbolt champs," i think a lot of people will just ignore it. but if we see one like "complete a path of abyss only using 5* hero champs" it's completely different. there's just so much more leniency and lots of breathing room if you don't have the best option.
No challenge should be designed to be impossible to beat without reviving. That should be obvious at this point. I dont see how someone prefers these to be more p2w and "revive fest" rather than a real challenge than can be overcome without item usage. You should stop using the word p2w when it doesn’t apply. If something can be done without paying it simply isn’t p2w That's not how it works What does P2W mean to you?

What? Most of the people who had already done the abyss used 5*s.....where is the challenge here??
Using Items is inevitable at some point, if challenging content is to progress. Outside of that, the only avenue you have is extending Fights indefinitely, and that's more time-consuming than challenging.

I'm not judging, just wondering :
People out here worrying about an Abyss challenge while I'm much more worried about the content being restricted to those who have completed a run of Abyss.I really hope they don't do that.
But if it's pegged to Swedeah/Bero/MSD ability, then it will be called too hard, revive fest or outright impossible by 99.999999% of the player base. Even xNig would baulk at some of those and he's the one who claimed challenges should require selling a kidney or similar organ 🙄🤣
One of the challenges shapes like use 4 stars in act 6 chapter 4 all fights

One of the challenges shapes like use 4 stars in act 6 chapter 4 all fights That's literally impossible to be done Eh, I'm sure that they have the technology to unlock it. I'd personally love a CC that requires us to beat the 6.2.6 Champion with only four stars or likewise with the GM.

Whether or not it is practical, it’s a different story. The moment a challenge becomes theoretically unsoloable, like LoL/AoL with 4*s, it starts to be a revive fest. (If they remove the hit counter it’ll be a different story)
Lmao that prof Hoff video where he actually thinks he has real data mined info on the new carina challenges is actually so funny. He actually thinks the really really really obvious joke post with almost impossible challenges is real. There is no way anyone with even half a brain cell would read the first challenge on the post which is complete abyss with 4 star gambit and 4 star joe fixit and think it was real Not to mention doing 2 seconds of research can find you this. You’d have thought a journalist would feel they have a duty to check their facts before misinforming the community. This is why I have an issue with Prof Hoff. I don’t like or dislike the guy himself, but he pumps misinformation and conspiracy theories out to the community like it’s going out of fashion. He has a responsibility to check his information and he completely ignores it for views.

@xNig 😉 pretty sure it was a kidney or your soul, one of the two!Agree though on having a real, permanent, ideally rotating, crazy degree of challenge. Even one that only has bragging rights/unique titles if they don't want rewards to unbalance the top of the game.No energy, one tile moves, maybe even modok hotel random buffs, so you could actually get a nearly impossible one. That's got to be relatively easy to recode.
