That was not an offer we chose to run. We decided to add a 5-Star Awakening Gem crystal to the Unit Package that we have running all year long. There may be a time in the future where we will offer something like that, but not at this time.

Seriously kabam why you always gotta do us all so rawdog. About 80% of people that buy your Odin deal will be disappointed because they don’t get the class they need. We’re all just trying to make some gains and we can’t even get a bone on holiday deals. Miss the mark again and missed the point of cyber Monday.
Lol, I would buy all of the multiple offers multiple times if there was tier 1 alphas with them. So sad, the one item there used to be an abundance of is now the one thing everyone is starved for.
And also just shameful that a Canadian based company throws out an offer that equates to $700 Canadian for half a rankup and 1.5 5* crystals. The rest of that is just irrelevant to anyone who would have interest in buying that.
Hey Mike I actually tried bought a Star Lord unit pack during the maintenance time. It didn't give me a cyber deal options though. I bought a total of 3 bt only two included the cyber monday iems. What are my options?
First of all, thank you all for the feedback on the Cyber Monday offers. It's important to keep in mind that while some of you feel that you have progressed past the point where some of these items are necessary for you, it's important to keep in mind that there are LOTS of players that are at the point in the game where these items are of interest to them. You might not need Tier 4 Class Catalysts or a 5-Star Awakening Gem Crystal, but plenty of players still do.
Additionally, I want to make you all aware that there is an issue with the purchase limit on the deals in the Unit store. You should be able to purchase more than 1 for most of them if you wish (5 of the Peter Parker's Wallet, 3 of the Star Lord's Loot Bag or Tony Stark's Briefcase, 2 of the Black Panther's treasure.) We're working on getting this fixed right now.
You don't have to thank us for anything. I am telling your straight up your offer is really disappointing. I am still gonna purchase them nevertheless because (1) I love the game, probably even more than Kabam does and (2) like you said, these items are of interest to me because I am still progressing. I would buy stuff I need even when I feel they are not worth it but I am not expecting to be charged this much for a Cyber Monday offer. The 10,000 units one was what got me the most. It is a terrible offer. Nobody I know had anything good to say about those and the fact you use "Cyber Monday" to label those packages just makes it so much worse. That offer would be terrible on a normal day, let alone Cyber Monday.
You guys are excepting a reward that whales spent thousands of money getting. A Generic is available through Exploration of LoL. Get off your high horses and think about it.
Please quit acting like Kabam cares about Whales. If they did there would be no such thing as 6* and atrocities known as 12.0 and 15.0 would have never happened.
Guys I do not think that the marketing team that designs these offers plays the game like true players do. Thus, they do not know what players want/need. That is pretty indicative of the offers. I guess they could have reached out to the players for some info on that. They chose not to for whatever reason.
This was such a disheartening Cyber Monday deal. Not that I have a problem with spending. I’ve been playing for exactly 3 years now, since the original beta. I have beaten every single released content that came out in the game. Beat LOL 100% 8 months ago.

We should have been allowed to purchase our own class of a 5* awakening gem. I now have yet another 5* awakening gem in my inventory that will never get used, without an option to even sell it. 3 5* gems that will NEVER get used! I have 6 rank 4 5* champs, with a mystic gem needed to take up my 7th. If the final chapter of Act 5 doesn’t have a generic 5* awakening gem as a final reward, I am seriously done with this f***ing game! Many of us long term veteran players are at a point where none of this stuff sold today relates to us, & many short term/mid term players need a deal (class specific 5* awakening gem) that would bring them to a level that they can get to, in order to play the game content that they really want to.
Kabam failed big time with this deal. As I stated previously, the unit deals weren’t all that bad. I do feel that a class specific 5* gem deal should have been offered, if not, that botched up Cache package deal should have contained a generic 5* gem for it’s price. Very disappointing...

The items included in the Unit Packages are bonus items. All-Father Odin's Vaults are available all year long, but do not usually contain these bonus items.
I think it’s about time you extended the Beta program to include offers before they go out. Talk and listen to your players because at the moment we are just growing further apart
For new players, these are great deals. You can buy multiple sets. For half of the cost for the Odin pack, you get the star lord pack with up to 10 T4 basics and 150 t4 class shard crystals with the units as well.

Not gonna lie the items sucked big time. An alliance mate bought the 15k unit deal cache. Got a 5 star old man Logan and yet another 5 star skill awakening gem. Why are there even 4 star awakening gems in the deals anyway. Few months ago 4 star generic awakening gem was sold for 1000 units so why was it sold for 50 dollars today.
Fair unbiased assessment here from somebody who knew they wouldn't spend a dime before even seeing these deals:
The unit pack deals really aren't that bad comparing them to past Cyber Monday deals.
The fact they let you buy more than one of them tells me less people are spending than used to and they expect smaller numbers of people to buy than in the past, but the ones that do can make up for that buy buying multiples. They have never don this in the past.
The cache deal seems a bit out of touch for what you get to say it as nicely as possible. 15k units ($500 minimum cash value) for all three tiers, did I read that right?
The game has changed so much over the last year and a half. I have spent a ton in past years but I just feel like my money and time were devalued way too quickly for my liking in MCOC land on those past investments so that is why I stopped. That all said, If I was a completly new player and didn't already have the roster and history that I do I would scoop up a few of those unit packs and avoid the cache deal.
^ Agreed. The cache deals are awful, awful, awful. Almost as awful as that 4* crystal one (with 1 energy refill and 10,000 gold) that pops up occasionally for the low, low price of 2500 units.

Two different things. The amount of money doesn't matter, the method of payment is the problem.

Agree with some of the deals sucking....especially the cache deal. But this is a really dumb comparison...not even remotely the same business model..
