It's an August Double Whammy! "Galan Goes to the Battlerealm" AND "Legends Celebration"

Event TL;DR

Complete weekly side quests and objectives in Galan Goes to the Battlerealm to earn rewards, including Gatekeeper Crystals and shards! AND, celebrate the first Summoners to defeat the Realm of Legends, Labyrinth of Legends and Abyss of Legends with special gifts, offers and a trade-in store!

Galan Goes to the Battlerealm

Starts: August 3, 2022

End: September 7, 2022

Carina has enlisted Deadpool to give Galan a tour of The Battlerealm. Hijinks ensue. Each quest offers 1x open path and 4x Champion gated paths (Champions needed can be gained from a special calendar and from Meta Crystals). Quest rewards can be found on-path as well as in completion and exploration rewards.

Gatekeeper Calendar with 2-star champs required to fully explore Side-Quests
4 Difficulties
Collect Gatekeeper Crystal Shards for completing Galan Wonderland Solo Events

Another event quest where we gotta wait a week to get the rewards. I'm personally not a fan of having to play the entire month in order to get everything.

I’m particular about the Legends calendar that didn’t get a buff, the shards arena (pretty okay still), and the 7-hours crystals. The halls of healing will probably be the same along with trade-in store that is a rehash of an older variant.

Eh. Excited for the new 2* champs, and Galán/Quicksilver, but the rest just seems okay. Not blown away, but there is at least a lot available and some decent rewards.

Also, for those who forgot, this trade in store is pretty normal. The one with the spicier deals came around December. Don’t riot without cause.

Edit: maybe I missed it, but are the event Cav/gm crystals going to cost 2,000 shards each?

Halls of glory(Iso) and halls of fortune won't help people if those are same as they were in 18th century.
That amount of iso and gold don't cut it in present state.

Also a reminder for people, Halls of fortune requires energy, and its the reason I don't run it.

1. For the TB solo objectives, do we really need to use all 4 of those champs on the team then the 5th champ to be who we want to? (because there's no "or" mentioned).
2. From the weekly SQ rewards what do we get? cause you only listed the reward as a whole for each difficulty without breaking down which/what we get from completion and from exploration of the weekly sq.
From what I expect we might just get all those rewards on the last week I guess, once all weeks are completed and explored, that's lame to wait full 5 weeks.

They didn't do anything. There was a trade-in. That's about it. No one guaranteed it would come back, and no one certainly told people to sit on their Gems. That was a choice.

You're crazy if you're still using 5* gems after the trade in store. I currently have over a 2 dozen 4* gem crystals and over a dozen 5* gems that I can't use because of the possibility of a trade in store. It might not have affected you, but it neutered me and it's easy to see why, unless you're wearing Kabam colored glasses...

I am sorry to hear about your neutering. If you are in a place in the game where 4* and 5* awakening gems can meaningfully help your account, then you are better off using them to do so and clear content than you are trying to save them to maybe convert five of them into one 6* awakening gem.

That trade in is only a good deal if your account has progressed past the point of those rarities being relevant to you. I don’t mind sitting on 5* awakening gems because I don’t use 5* champions for any content anymore. It makes no difference to me whether my 5* Scorpion or Black Cat or whoever is awakened because I’m not going to invest catalysts and iso into them (except maybe for a level up event).

If I get to turn these dusty old gems into a shiny new one down the line, cool. If not, they’re still doing what they would have been doing had this event never happened: collecting dust.
