Why aren’t Villains Villains?

i just noticed that thanos children aren’t villains even though they completely supported and fought for anything he did. Thanos is labeled as a villain so why would’ve his children that would do the same villainous things for him not be villains?

    Also to add to this, Thanos in Infinity War sees himself as the hero and doing what he needed to do to make sure life continued in the entire universe. His “Children” were doing what they needed to do to help that. They don’t see themselves as the villains, just doing what they saw as necessary for the continuation of life across the entire universe.

    Tags are another layer of balancing the game. Some champs don't have #Villain tags because devs didn't want certain tag-based interactions to happen.

    Other than Blade's Danger sense, we have a whole Variant designed for #Villains, where the devs simply don't want some characters to go. It wouldn't necessarily be gamebreaking, they just wanna have it this way

    Because game management dictates a certain number of champs in all of these categories. They could be classified as that, but they’re not. There are other champs like Venom that switch between the two (hero/villain) so sometimes tags just serve a function, and it’s not always informational. Not all champs that use an ounce of metal are metal, etc.

    I don’t particularly care either way if Proxima and Corvus etc don’t have the tag, but it can’t be simply if someone sees themselves as a hero. I don’t think Killmonger for example sees himself as a villain, maybe Ghost too.
    I agree with this. Some of the worst people in history as well as in stories believe themselves to be acting for noble reasons. Tag them how you want but their self perception is irrelevant.

    There was a mod post once about how yes they don't make all metal champs have the metal tag because they don't want magneto getting a free pass through half the champs here, assume it's the same for any other tag which specific champs have a strong advantage over. Got to keep things balanced as best they can

    U do realise that marvel doesn't have much to with the tags and abilities of champions they put in game?
    And

    So, basically magneto shouldn't be a villian? I mean isn't he doing what he does for better of mutants? At least in his sense
    That's such a flawed reasoning u have, why would any villain with an ambition see themselves as a villain at all.

    I guess OP want Kabam change the 3-day event from villains use to hero use. Maybe.
    Those tag stuffs are kind of trade-off and you can't read it in strict sense. Similar to definition of metal champs. I guess Kabam don't want player using Red Magneto to do everything if there are many metal champs.
