Doom or Rintrah from Nexus?

Who should I take from mystic 6 star nexus? I have a 5 star rank 5, 200 sig Doom already I use a lot. Chased Rintrah from last featured and really wanted for BG, just not sure if I would be kicking myself passing on 6 star Doom. Other notable Mystics I have at 6 stars are BWCV, Wiccan, and Dragonman.

Opinions appreciated!

    Personally I find Rintrah a bit overrated (I might be wrong). I can see he is very good for BG, I use him there as well, but other than than, I think Doom is better. And if you have Wiccan, you already have neutralize champ, which is one of main reasons Rintrah is used.

    Rintrah's neutralize is far less stressful to keep up than Wiccan's, plus damage is not an issue for him in non-cosmic matchups

    Not even a thought. Doom. And it ain’t that close. Yes, Rintrah is good. Doom and BWCV are top 2 mystics and I’d argue both are top 2 overall perhaps. DOOM!!!

    So much this. Lots of players have Diablo as a top champion .... but it requires the recoil masteries.
    Doom is clearly number 1, and then every other Mystic's rankings are dependent on masteries and people actually being able to use it (I for one, am not able to master Tigra at all).

    Given the 5 star doom I'd say rintrah. Doom is definitely better, but the 5 star is just a tank and you won't notice that he isn't at rank 3 that much. Rintrah is a bit more valuable than than doom in battlegrounds and even if he wasn't it's better to have both champs.

    I wasn’t expecting to see this thread again! I actually ended up picking Rintrah. I do think that from a pure maximum account benefit/competitive standpoint Doom was probably the right pick. I went for Rintrah though for BG, neutralize utility, and excitement of a new powerful champ (game is supposed to be fun).

    If I didn’t have a maxed rank/sig 5 star Doom, picking Doom would have been a no brainer.

    Liking Rintrah so far. I expect to use a mystic awakening gem on him and sig him up in near future.
