Which is more effective?

Which one does Kabam give more attention to?

Which one will get cheaters banned more expediently?

    I feel I doesn’t even matter which one cuz they don’t tell you whether the person is banned or not… I personally have tried both ways… and it sucks to meet modders when you’re just one match away from reaching the next level

    Anyone from Kabam, could shed more light on this?

    I’m just so sick of cheaters. Have come across a couple today hence this thread.

    To give you the illusion that it actually does something and to 'relieve' your pain after having matched against a modder.

    I could be wrong but until I have reason to believe otherwise, I assume that the BG report button works as well as the global report button (meaning pretty much not at all). I'd recommend sending in support tickets as I usually have more success with those.

    But then again, I frequently get people at support who clearly have never played the game and don't understand why a 4 star Groot shouldn't beat a 6* r4 king pin in 7 seconds.

    Best bet might be double up and do both.

    As far as I'm aware, using the report button creates a report for the Fair Play team to review. Opening a support ticket sends an email to a person who reads your email and then uses that information to create a report for the Fair Play team to review. Doing both is redundant, as they both end up doing the same thing.

    Support does not need to be aware of how cheating works in the game, or for that matter how the game itself works, when it comes to cheating reports because they simply pass those along to the team at Kabam that investigates cheating. The support people themselves do not investigate cheating reports, and thus what they know or understand is completely irrelevant.

    Support also has no ability to send you any results or updates about the process, as they are not informed about the state of the process. All they can do is acknowledge your support ticket. They literally have no way to follow up on cheating reports, as that information is not allowed to be reported back to players and thus is not passed back to the support techs.

    Would love for Kaabam to confirm this is the case so we don’t have to both hit he Report button and send them an email.

    It at least makes it less work for them AND makes it much more clear for us (and less work for us too).

    No offense but I'd rather hear the process how it works from an actual Kabam employee instead someone who is speaking from how they think it works. Until an actual Kabam employee confirma otherwise, I stand by my recommendation to do both "report" in BG and send in a support ticket.

    But honestly, based on how bad the mods are again this season despite all the actions Kabam is claiming to take, I'm not holding my breath for any of the above to be very effective.
