New potion and revive package is a slap in the face

Yo, they took away revive “farming” saying it was unbalancing the game but now they are releasing a bundle you can purchase for only 500 units.

What the heck!? Obviously they removed the potions and revives as a cash grab to make you spend units to potions/revives. This is insulting. Just stop.

    There are 500 unit offers that trigger I'm that have been in the game for years. Revives and pots have been for sale since the game started. This is no different other than it's cheaper to buy the bundle.

    It's not a slap in the face. This phrase is wildly overused.

    Seriously I hear what y’all are saying, I’m not one to poopoo on Kabam that much, it just ticked me off the timing of everything. Y’all are probably right that it is an automatic triggering event, but in the end it was me that was triggered lol.

    I don't think you know what trivialise means. Having unlimited revives on tap made any difficulty unimportant since there is no wall an inventory and full overflow of revives won't break.

    I said nothing about anything being trivialized ; I was speaking about the difficulty.

    Well this is a great deal of conspiracy and conjecture.
    An Offer with a limited amount of Revs and Pots offered for Untis is not the same as an endless farm that was being stockpiled for End-Game content.

    Nothing summarizes MCOC forums better than "slap in the face" because that phrase is used more than probably every other phrase combined.

    You are incorrect . The difficulty is fixed. The fight itself is constant and doesn’t change. What does change is our familiarity with the content, our skills and the rarity , rank and levels of our champs.

    Yes it does. If I have unlimited items to use without cost associated, the difficulty is zero. If I am limited what I can use because the availability of those items and the planning involved in it, the difficulty goes up from there. There's nothing difficult about reviving 100 times to down a defender.

    Demonz is correct in this case. Having the Resources to complete it affects the overall difficulty. If someone has an endless supply that they can spam Revs with, that makes it a very small feat indeed.
    Even spending money is a difficulty factor for the majority of people. Most of us work for that money. It's not something that a great deal of people have an endless supply of.

    It was specifically this statement and idea "It's no longer difficult to do because I can just throw revives until I get the defender to zero health" that I do not agree with. The level of difficulty is fixed; the fight itself doesn't change because you used more or less items.

    Getting back to the topic of this thread.... I should mention that I don't agree with the OP and have no problem with the revive package offered.

    Poor Kabam, anything they do at this point is considered a slap in the face 😂
    On a serious note, Kabam has given some slaps in the face to the community recently, with the most current being the unreachable 7* celebration event milestones for ftp and low spenders, but this unit offer is definitely not one of them.
    Actually is a quite good offer, that is similar to EQ 1k potions offer, but without the energy refills and boosts.
    It's a good value for units for whoever is planning on hard content 😉

    Exactly, it removes strategies it doesn't change the difficulty though, that's still the same whether I have 1 or 100 revives
