After updating, issue still persist. Really have to do with certain champs, Groot vs Silver Surfer, Nimrod vs Toad. I could still play a bit avoiding these "landmines" . So far havent met these bad matchup in AQ, yet.

First of all, huewai devices do not have Google services. It's not on Playstore. We need to install the game from side sources.
If the problem is from the playstore and the game will work like this, does it mean that huewai users will never be able to play this game? Do you have an alternative solution plan?

The gspace program helped on my p40. Log in via Google account and link your account to kabam. It worked for me (I've been playing since 2015 for the first time such problems)
Due to increases in app size, we've had to change the way we deliver the game on Android, MCOC relies on the Google Play Store to download additional assets. MCOC does not support side loading the game, it's not something to which we've devoted any resources. When a game is side loaded, it simply cannot access these files.
Short term, anyone who can access the game from the Google Play Store directly, should. This should resolve the issue for a select few.
