I like Aaron Taylor-Johnson, I want good things for him... but this trailed does not make me confident for the film.

My favorite synergy in the game (in terms of novelty, not that I actually use it) is the Torch-Killmonger-Cap IW Familiar Faces synergy.

It’d be nice for Kraven and QS to get a little wink and a nod in the same way.

What worries me a bit is that the R rating seems kind of odd for Kraven as a character. He's never struck me as someone who bites people's noses off or whatever it was that he did in the trailer. You've got a character that regularly eats people's brains for dinner; a villain who, in his most famous appearance, indiscriminately slaughtered his way through New York City; a character that is a literal(-ish) vampire; and then a big game hunter - and it's the last one that you're making R-rated? I'm worried that we'll just get a lot of blood and gore for no real reason.

But I am curious about two things: Cameleon (I was a fan of him as a kid, and I hope Kraven's brother isn't just his brother but actually masks up) and Rhino (you don't tease Rhino as the big bad unless you've got some cool plans, because teasing Rhino as the big bad without some cool plans would be insane).

But otherwise, nah, nothing in the trailer actually got me excited about the movie as such.

Saw the trailer few days ago, did not spark that much interest. Here are my biggest critiques:

    1. That is not how he got his powers, (couldn't remember how exactly, but lion blood was not the way)
    2. Couldn't find another actor to play his dad? Why does he need a dad/family?
    3. He didn't look like he was hunting (like with guns, traps, lures, and basic hunting equipment), he was just tearing people faces off
    4. You could name the movie "Sabretooth" and there will be no difference in plot and fighting style
    5. The chase scenes with him pouncing off of walls looked like Sabretooth just chasing Cyclops in X-Men Origins
The major problem about making a villain movie is that he cant be his own villain, so he needs another antagonist, which kinda ruins the purpouse of the movie.

For example: They had to waste Riot and Carnage for Venom. Create that Prince Daemon Vampire to match Morbius (im sorry but idk that dude from comics, so pardon if im wrong). And now.. daddy issues for Kraven.. or pehaps a grudgematch with Rhyno? idk.

They should all be in Spiderman movies. And dont get me started on that antihero ****, cause they started off as villains, took years of development for them to become antiheroes.

Kraven The HUNTER, that doesnt hunt animais.. dafuq is that lol, they seem to ruin his story, the same way they did Ms Marvel not being inhuman
Your mostly right, except for the ms marvel bit. She was always originally intended to be a mutant but before her first appearance marvel changed their minds and made her an inhuman to help inhuman comic book sales. That's why they are changing her back to mutant now.
But she has been inhuman since day one, everyone sees her that way, i dont like they changed that.. but that didnt even bother me the most.. i HATED that they changed her powers! The cosmic bracelet thing was so lame, she should have her classic morphogenetic powers.

Nothing against Iman Vellani, i think she was great, but the show.. god, worst MCU project by far, much worse than Shehulk.. it was unwatchble

You are aware that the only difference between an inhuman and mutant is that inhumans MUST have to go through terrrigenesis to have thier gene awakened yes? Mutants can access it whenever they become old enough for it to awaken. It's really not that big of a change anyways. And as I stated earlier, she was supposed to be a mutant to begin with. But I do agree, the bracelet thing was odd.

In response to @Buttehrs latest comment, sorry can't quote it properly

Another major difference between Inhumans and Mutants is that apparently the the comic book world hates Mutants, while ignoring the Inhumans. Biggest example, Inhumans have Attilan, Humans ignore them, Mutants create Krakoa, Humans hate them for it. If I'm correct, Krakoa actually gave medicine and such to other countries as peace offerings, while Attilan is like MCU's Wakanda

Inversely, the only practical reason why Disney decided to make Kamala a Mutant was to make the Unaware (Comic Ignorant) excited for Mutants appearing in the MCU instead of declaring her an Inhuman and making the Unaware ask "Who?" since the Inhuman Live Action should never be mentioned. I absolutely detest what they did to her powers too, they were probably afraid that the Unaware would compare her powers to Mr. Fantastic. It's not like we don't have multiple heroes with the same powers and/or armors that do the same exact thing

Honestly, they should have just had a crossover with Agents of Shield, and recruit Kamala since they pulled of the Inhuman storyline better than the actual show. Imagine Quake meeting Kamala and inviting her to join her team of Shield Agents/Inhumans

Normally I'd agree but even the comics are recounting her as we speak. She literally just died in the last spiderman comic that came out and is already being revived in an upcoming iron man / Emma frost wedding on Krakoa in September. Most likely using Krakoa resurrection protocols which would mean she is in fact a mutant even in comics now.

He's way to agressive and rabid in the trailer IMO. In the comics he's a hunter, not a beast. He's meant to be this tactical hunter, patient enough to wait for prey to come to him, not a rabid beast able to go ballistic and bite people's faces off at a moment's notice. He's way to wild for me, and his origin story also doesn't make a lot of sense. I was expecting his origin to be through consuming some herbs or something, not GETTING BITTEN BY A NORMAL REGULAR LION. He also doesn't hunt much throughout the trailer, which is just insulting. He's Kraven the Hunter, not Kraven the Animal Activist. However, I do have to admit, I am pretty excited for the Rhino showing up as his comic accurate self. Its a major upgrade from what we got at the end of TASM 2.Overall, I would give the trailer a 5/10. The tone is great, and they executed the Rhino reveal spectacularly, but he's just too different from his comic counterpart, and not in a good way.

As I said before, the movie could be called "Sabretooth" and there will be no difference, since when does Kraven bite people's face off. I can see him cutting the head to mount on a wall, but not tear off the face
