Just a quick check at the leaderboard. People was questioning the effectiveness of the ban. Top 5 in the featured highly likely to be all bots. May be the top 10 too.
This is why you play the game at your own pace. Chasing the top is a Sisyphean endeavor. Lots of cheaters at the top of the game and Kabam even flags them as ban in the recent leaks.
The problem with leaks is that they tend not to have context. As someone who used to datamine games myself has some knowledge of datamining you can't always trust what things are called, because you are looking at internal labels not documentation. The fact there's a flag apparently called "ban" on player accounts that are not banned would be a red flag to me to think carefully about even mentioning such a thing, out of an abundance of caution for being misleading or harmful.
These days, it seems most dataminers are just out for their own self-aggrandization or petty agendas.
Doing a bit of rounding for easier math. Let's say 300 cheaters were banned 7 days last round of banning but kept their hundreds of thousands of units they stole. 300 people spending 36000 (estamating 1200$ to buy them) units they didn't pay for is $360,000 dollars of "merchandise" kabaam allowed to be stolen in just those 300 people. Of course they wouldn't have paid to purchase it, but most thiefs wouldn't buy the things they steal and the businesses still do their best to not allow it.
Just how effective the ban wave! No 1 in featured and no 3 in basic is the same account. In addition, no 6 and 7 in featured are highly likely to be modder.
The guy who got top 25 in both arenas has 2.7 million pvps and he's in the leaderboards every week. How is this mathematically possible?!
11,769 fights in 6 days
that averages out to 81.7 fights per hour non stop
11, 769 fights @ 30s per fight is 98hrs of continuous grinding over 144 possible hours.
The top of the Lady Deathstrike leaderboard is littered with obvious bot running accounts, the same ones that were banned for 7 days during the last ban wave. I don't understand how nobody at Kabam is acknowledging this and permanently banning these accounts. The amount of matches they are playing are not physically possible, how much more proof do you need? Do they just not care?
Number 1 in the lady deathstrike and number 6 in hood arena. Kabam should probably look into that account.
He has 3574 pvp streak. Thats 50 rounds an hour, 24 hours a day for 3 days straight. That person should be beaten with a bag of oranges till he's purple

Maybe they got them this is the first time I've seen that account logged off in 2 weeks.
Three of the top 10 in the featured arena. None seems legit to me. In addition, number 6 in featured and number 10 in basic is the same account. All those highly likely to be bot account
Someone placed rank 1 in the feature and rank 6 in the basic during the most recent Arena. We may still have a cheating problem.
Come on. It seems pretty legit. True dedication. If not, Kabam would ban him already. They are pretty strict about violating Ts&Cs.
In this case, Kabam should reward the person with more units and champs. I don't feel suspicious at all. Always believe in Kabam's judgement and the player abilities who can do the impossible.
By the way, in that person profile, he could do the impossible. He could have a winstreak of 3574. With around 2 minutes per match, it will take around 5 days playing non stop but he could do the impossible by getting it done within 3 days.
@vz2fbx I dont want to take anything away from this amazing summoner. I want Kabam to do it by running their cheating detection software. In the past the do a round of arena bans every 6 months to one year. I am hoping it will be done more regularly from now on like in bg’s
Not sure how effective the lastest ban is. The top of the leaderboard still filled with bot accounts. Just a quick check. The first two is in top 25 in both basic and featured arena that just ended and the last one is in top 5 in basic. All those look very suspicious. The last one is a bot only alliance it seems.

looks like our friend here is finally banned. put up more than ~40k+ pvps in 4 weeks but he's out of an alliance and has had 0 additional arena wins in about a week.

two-thirds of his existence is "him" in arena
