Ofc kabam could make this game free to all with no offers, only we’d have pop up adds every other fight and I’d quit it in a day. The appeal to me is that it doesn’t have any unlike most mobile games nowadays

This is truly one of the silliest and worse posts I've read. You want to have 2 different BG servers but compete for the same rewards. By your logic, spenders face harder competition while you won't. You want everything the same but an easier way of getting it.

This has nothing to do with Kabam needing money. The system you suggested did ultimately flawed from the beginning and would not work nor make both parties happy. BG incentivizes roster diversity and knowledge of champions, one of which money can help with, the other is experience.
Separating BG into spenders vs non would just mean non spender BG would get a fraction of the BG rewards that are currently seen. Spending is always going to provide certain advantages. There’s nothing saying a FTP can’t get close to the top, it just may take harder work and grinding in order to get there.

Like I said, you need to work harder because you don’t spend. That’s how it works my friend. We aren’t finding errors, more just pointing out obvious flaws. Furthermore being a spender or ftp doesn’t carry skill. I’ve matched plenty of good and bad players with all sizes of accounts. You can win any match as long as it’s somewhat fair and you outplay them.
The "somewhat fair" is what gets me, for example how can I expect my R3 is withstand R2 7* without getting nuked in 20seconds ? It's the unfair power level that spenders bring to the table, and some of them are really good players which makes it worse for FTP
What would you do when you start getting out rostered in the FTP circuit? Start asking for roster based matchmaking again? There will always be rosters that outclass rosters in each tier.
Would totally except it cuz I would know that this person worked haaaaaard for this roster and didn't use shortcuts

One should stop referring to playing a game out of their own choice (and provided for free) as work. If the game is no longer enjoyable, consider taking a break.
Otherwise, you'll find that the Cyber Weekend deals will give rewards you didn't have for 7.5 years of work and July 4th deals next year will have items you couldn't get for 8 years.

Before BGs were a thing I couldn't care less about whales and spenders getting all the goodies cuz I didn't get in (real time face to face with them) and I actually loved the fact that they payed for the game we all love
I have a suggestion that I'm sure will satisfy both segments of mcoc because right now the gap is felt more than ever when the Battlegrounds became a thing and people buy everything just to bully everyone not spending and that's a fact !
My suggestion is to have two matchmaking systems for BGs
1 for spenders and whales and basically everyone that spent a dime on this game is to battle each other in their own separate matchmaking and of course have bigger rewards (but not that big in order to shorten the (FTPs and spenders gab) in due time
2 A second matchmaking system designed exclusively for FTPs where only FTPs face each other so that only (hard work) is the difference between and have a smaller rewards pool but not humongous difference just like the way kabam sees unjustly fair !!
Bottom line you need to do something to this fiasco cuz it's only gonna get worse if nothing is done

I am FTP and for me Battlegrounds is completely random . This time I made it to Galdiator Circuit while using only a single shield , other times I barley make it to diamond while using over a dozen shields . I don’t really care that much . At the end of the day I still get nice resources
