I could rank 5 a skill, cosmic, or science champ right now. I have no need for any of my options at rank 5. So I am sitting on the resources till I land a 5* because outside of landing a god tier champ I view ranking a 4* at this stage a waste of resources. So that is why I personally don't find that rank up reward valuable, I would much rather get the resources

Man you people are spoiled huh. I don't even get that. Tiller. Is it worth it or not, pick one. You guys don't even know the difficulty. The rewards, they're Great. They are really great. How spoiled are we? How needy

For the 2nd hardest content in the game, rewards should be geared more towards the 5* progression. These do not. That is why I didn't vote. Of course ANY rewards are worth doing new content, but if it cost money to get through then no I would say not. I guess the point is no one here has enough info to make that call.

Because many of the people this quest is 'geared' for are people who already have plenty of r5 4*, and who are working on making the transition to focusing on 5*, of which they also have a fair number of. Since the gem is 4* only (and random at that, so it could be actually useless if you have no champs of that class to rank), that does not help them much. There are plenty it does still help, but the highest-end players get very little from these rewards. All dependent on whatever the heck Grandmaster's Favor is. Is it a super crystal? A buff? A key to a new map? His favorite teddy bear?
If it was the stuff to rank a 4* to 5 (a crystal with a set of 3 class cats, 5 t4b, etc), it would be miles better; you could use those resources on taking up a 5* instead. But it is painfully obvious that they are pushing 5* champs and content to be run with 5*s, and by the end of the year, there will be scores of champs in the 5* crystal, making it much more difficult to awaken the ones you pull. It makes sense for Kabam to begin upping the rewards of 5* shards at least, to facilitate the process.
They could also, you know, show us the end rewards for the entire Act. We still have to wait, but people would complain less if they knew total Completion would result in 4 more t2a, the start of access to t5b, 5* awakening gem, etc. Since we have to get things in drips and drabs, it is more frustrating.

Completion of chapter 2 shouldn't contain t2 alphas. I wouldn't attempt LOL if that was the case. Those are probably coming with act 5 co peloton and exploration not act 2

I don't understand how a free R5 is not worthy to you guys. Do explain yourselves more. So in total 5 T4cc and 7 T4b. You guys probably suck and are worried you can't beat it, but you want ridiculous game changing rewards. And why are you all in such a rush to make 4* obsolete by getting 5* rewards everywhere. Btw you can farm potions for free in ROL and daily T4b, of and units for free in arena and monthly event.

You also assume if you can beat it, these are game changing rewards. That is where you are wrong. But gg

That is what I meant by total completion, Act, not Chapter; sorry, was unclear. I voted no because I believe the amount of 5* shards should be much higher, and there should be 5* sig crystals rather than 4* sig stones, as we get plenty of 4* sigs from Solo events and Master quests. Replace the Rank Up gem with a Rank Up Crystal, and boom. Done.

In a game where you can't effectively use 4 stars in the content because of a new system they've forced down our throats you're okay with getting upgrade materials almost strictly for obsolete characters?

I wouldn't be okay with that. Fortunately, I don't play that game.

I agree that the 5 star shards should be increased to at least 3k overall. I wasn't sure if you meant act or chapter @Amonthir

We might start seeing tier 2 alphas in chapters 3 and 4 though

I would expect half a t2A for Chapter 3, 1.5 for Chapter 4, and then 2 more for Total Act Completion, along with a ton of other goodies, all directed at 5* progression. And I expect to face a r6 6* Boss at the end as well =P

4* are already obsolete with the release of the new champs every month in the 5* crystals. Sorry, dude. Just pointing out the obvious.

4* are not obsolete. How long do you think it will take to get enough good 5* to not have to use 4*? I'm expecting that to take at least a year unless you constantly pull the best champs when you open crystals

I have multiple 5* that are great to use (and they aren't "top tier"). Currently I have 15 @ 5* and multiple are duped. Top tier alliances aren't even focusing on 5/50 4* from here. It is all about ranking their 5* rosters. Mostly the 4* are about prestige if you have been playing long enough. And Act 5 isn't something that people without a already healthy roster of 5/50 4* would tackle with ease.

The content is supposed to be the 2nd hardest content TO DATE. The rewards should reflect such.

Isn't that the issue at hand? You are probably right but content is clearly geared towards 5* champs now. The issue is that there is no effective fast way to obtain 5* champs and it could take a year to build a roster for an average player. A year of over spending through content with 4* champs in a system that punishes you for using those 4* champs

4* are no obsolete YET because not everyone has a whole roster of duped 5*.

Honestly the whole problem with this new content is more that KABAM needs to be more open on what the future rewards for the next set of chapters and full completion/exploration will do for the whole of Act 5. Without knowing that, it's hard to say just how good or bad the rewards they are releasing are. Being left in the dark which I understand from their perspective they want to build suspense or wonder at what things can be, however people can be over imaginative and then when the "official" rewards come out they seem subpar.

I was disappointed at first upon seeing the official rewards because I saw the leaked/speculated content and was quite looking forward to duping one of my 5* champs. However knowing that everyone will be getting these rewards (if not immediately at least some point down the road) perhaps its better for it not to be given out for Act 5 (this early or possibly at all). I'd like more story driven content in the future even if its something extra to the LoL series.

I would have preferred they remove the units and just separated the T4B and Class Cats instead of combining both into a random 4 star rank up ticket (since apparently theres a limit to how much they can display for rewards so they would need to remove something). Maybe they could make "rainbow" class cats that we could use where we wanted instead of being hemmed into complete randomness. Though I suppose that is what the contest is. Especially with the Elder wars. Unpredictable battles, in which case the rewards suit the style of gameplay/story.

I'm just saying that 5* aren't obselte yet. I have 10 5* and only use one of them for any content in this game outside arena

Exactly! Not to mention that Dimensional Rifts gave 5* shards out like candy and weren't even that hard. Act 5 being universally challenging should have a much nice pay out. 19% of a 5* for 100% exploration is a joke compared to the difficulty.

@Midknight007 so have you played Act 5 chapter 2 since you know how difficult it is? I don't know how difficult it is yet, but I bet it's still doable with little resources used

Did you read the release notes? Because I am directly quoting Kabam. I would advise you be a little less sarcastic.i5d3wvzubdbw.png

Have you seen the Kabam employees play? They aren't even that good. We don't know how hard this will be if it wa declared difficult by people who aren't top tier players

Road to labyrinth wasn't that difficult. I cleared it with a 4/40 cb and a 3* and the rest of the team was for synergies

I have seen the 2 developers play in the NY Comiccon, but was that them actually playing at their best? Or were they just playing around for the video? I wouldn't take a video of 2 people as evidence of all Kabam employees' ability either.

And When Kabam says they made it SUPER HARD... I believe it. It is all about $$$. Or should I say:
