    I think champs who fly should be immune to root mechanics. Would be a nice way to counter one of the most annoying mechanics of the game.
    I loved this idea.

    This came up when ppl suggested this same thing but not against root, against Quake s aftershock, and it was shutdown, so i think this idea will prob have the same fate :S
    Back in the days of Playdom's Avengers Alliance this was a thing - certain attacks were designated as "Ground" attacks which would be ignored by characters with the "Flying" effect. Man I loved that game...
    I miss that game so much...

    I totally agree that a degen immune would be a great addition. Also would be great to clarify which things count as passive dot for gladiator hulk.
    As an aside that I found funny. When Variant 1 came out there were zero champs that even mitigated degen damage. And in the science chapter there is a path with 1.6% degen/sec node. No dash back and you get degen, or any actions, just take 1.6% degen per sec.
    So then they started bringing out degen resistant champs. Mr Negative, Ham, Gulk. So when I was finally going in to finish that I thought it would be ok. Nope they changed the node. Now just says 1.6% direct damage. not degen.

    It's not. It's been confirmed from the devs.
    They also confirmed that Zemo's Root was working as intended and that ended up on the Trello board. What exactly did they say? I don't see how Bane isn't considered a Passive DoT effect but No Retreat is.

    If anyone is going to be degen imune, I hope it’s Darwin, whenever they decide to bring him in
    He could be the first (and maybe only) champion to be immune to all DoT effects cause of his adapting power and whatnot

    You got many options, Silk, Spidey 2099, Quicksilver, and probably a few others don't use dexterity to dodge and thus can dodge Heimdalls sp2, or you could just remove Heimdalls armor up and his sp2 is no longer unblockable

    Agreed, i love to use him vs Mojo or Terrax, ppl forget how badly he can demolish Terrax and end up with full hp
