Herc can solo, but you need to do his phases very carefully.

Got an 8 minute solo with my 6* R3 venom. I think literally anyone can do this fight, just equip relic, bait sp1 and break his armors.

It's just really funny to me that it seems like they made a boss that purposefully shut down most of Hercules' abilities and he can still curbstomp the fight lmaoo

I used good old trusty King Groot (my go to when it comes to new bosses) and he worked pretty well

His survivability allowed me to get more of a feel for the fight, and the his fury buffs help towards breaking his armour and dealing some pretty spicy damage

Also took Venom with me, he also worked pretty well and his bleeds can get quite high

You weren't lying. King Groot took that man to the cleaners

Havent tested him yet. Hopefully someone who has can put it in here. I don't see why he wouldn't work
I wilk try nd let yoy know
Gorr is excellent, especially for the lower left path where you need to put debuffs on the boss.

I personally used Venompool with Odin Pre-fights, loved this boss fight
  • ItsClobberinTimeItsClobberinTime Member Posts: 5,444 ★★★★★
Went in once with Juggs cause I wanted to get used to Cerastes' mechanics and...

I couldn't even try what I wanted to try with Red Goblin cause he just died a minute after I went in again💀

That being said, this fight was really really fun, more than Scytalis or Bahamet imo. I was going to use Odin pre-fights but that would've probably made the fight quicker and less fun, for me at least.

I tested Galan, Hulkling and Hercules

    Galan worked eh
    Hulkling worked pretty good
Hercules absolutely rolled it even though Cerastes has many anti herc abilities

Is there any increased damage during the wounded phase/window?(like scytalis d bahamat). Inthat case does the increased damage increase galan's harvest dmg?b
I never really got galans harvest to pop in time with the broken armor phases so I'm not sure unfortunately. As for the increased damage i think Cats picture might answer your question lmaoo
Np, I tried with galan and he does inceeased damage.. something like 2 mil on harvest

I used hulkling on no trap path, worked pretty well, but it was first attempt, so maybe he is awesome after all, cgr on armor break path was definitely the quickest, and gamora+angela on the unblockable sps path: that was fun (all but gamora were on odin buffs)

I’ve only done completion and used classic Scarlet Witch, the fight was pretty easy

I have not done this fight, but it just seems like you need a cosmic with buffs (just give odin prefights)

    Sersi
    CGR
    Hulkling
    Gorr
    Herc
    Angela
    Venom
    Venompool

Any of these should be fine. Maybe I'll dust off my R4 hype.. so many choices

IMO order of fun for Act 8 bosses (best to worst)

    Scytalis, Cerastes, Bahamet

Bahamet isn’t even a bad fight, I just prefer the others

    What isn't okay about it?

Gorr is amazing. Cerestes is weirdly weak so as long as you don't take a full five-hit combo and then a special attack to the face, chances are that Gorr will just take a little damage and then get a regen buff that heals him back up. He was jojoing between 10% health, if I accidentally missed a dex on one of Cerestes' specials, and about 30% health after the regen buff had done its magic.

Pro tip: if you run low on health (but can still take a hit), strike Cerestes' block when he's at the point where he just knocks you back and places a plasma on you. If you can just survive the initial hit, you get a regen out of it that'll heal you up nicely even with the plasma on you. That's a great way to get that regen without slipping up entirely. One quick hit is a lot more survivable than taking a five-hit combo or a special attack to the face, but results in the same amount of regen.

Only did this fight once so far on the unblockable special path (wanted the 7* shards & units) - found it ok once you learn the phases. Ended up in phase 3 w/o even realising it using Venom. Definitely the easiest one so far. Probably still like the Bahamet fight better personally, but this is definitely easier.

i did it with 5* odin

My team down the Hyperion path:
R4 Doom and Jugs for the path, Angela, King Groot and Venom for the boss. Forgot to switch Jugs with Odin, before boss fight…somehow picked my R4 NF 🙊🙉🙈 That was not smart, prob cost me a few revives.

Anyways, without Odin pre fight, i found Venom to be best for the phase 3, easier to counter his heavy attack with Venoms heavy attack. KG is great if you’re a 💩 Paragon like me, he will forgive your mistakes.
Angela, even without Odin (But i do have a OG Thor relic on her tho…) damage wise…the greatest, Queen of everything 🧨💥🔥

Good luck, enjoy, its a fun fight 🫡
