I really like Kate Bishop. She looks like she will do well in long content and is potentially a good option for abyss, and she's decay so awesome right now in battlegrounds. I really enjoy playing my hawkeye so I've been doing my utmost to try and pull her.

I opened featureds for her but instead got the other new champs like viv vision, shocker as well as tons of wasted dupes on old champions but none of the top 3 options, FAM or Kate or Cassie. I don't mind not getting them, I just want Kate.

Since then I have opened tons of basic crystals as soon as they were added and still those 3 champions continue to evade me.

I then decided to go full try hard and ended up opening 2 skill nexus crystals and 2 abyss skill nexus crystals and got no good skill champs!

I don't know what to do now as I've exhausted all my options to get her for a while. If she's great for necropolis I may actually cry. PLEASE Kabam put a 2023 champion selector in the cyber weekend offers and Ill even pay cash for her.

I just want a Kate Bishop.

Don't worry, I still don't have Dani or Moondragon. As for 2023 selector, we'll probably see one J4 next year.

Dude I can't wait that long, I have the attention span of goldfish. I actually don't have those 2 characters either but I'm the kind of summoner who really likes specific champs. Like I know Prof x is one of the absolute best champs in the game for everest content, but he just never clicked with me.

Sorry OP. I hear ya. I can’t find scorpion though apparently everyone else in my alliance and BG opponent has one. And every YouTuber on content “oh just use scorpion, it’s easy.”

I desperately want Kate. I also desperately wanted Dani and I got every single champ from the featured multiple times... except Dani.

I am still missing AA and Hulking plus all the new ones, so will wait patiently for the selector this month to realise my goal.
Just grind arena now and you will be ready by Xmas.

I seem to often get champs that I want whenever I’m not actually trying to get them, like I opened one 6 star featured to try and get Silk but got Dani instead and I was opening Skill/Mutant dual class to get Kate or Black Cat but go Fury and Apoc back to back and Science/Mystic dual class for Spot or Absorbing Man but got Longshot and Spider-Ham and Cassie Lang

Is kate that great? AITA for picking future antman instead of kate from a nexus crystal?(I already had kp shang chi in skill that time but in tech my best was omega sentinel).
Also still I got neither ht nor archangel as 6*

At least your pulls from the dual crystal were good. I tried about a dozen of the cosmic/tech and kept getting Drax, Iron Patriot, OG Cap Marvel, etc. Shortly later pulled CGR from basic

This is how I was with Elsa. I love playing her. It took me finally pulling the trigger to pay for a Skill Nexus crystal to finally get her at 6*. It was worth it.

Same is happened with with me for kingpin. I have all resources for him to R5 sig200. But i only have 5*. I always open only skill Nexus from selector just to get KP. But no luck so far!!! Waiting for cyber weekend if I can get him.

But I got Kate bishop from basic crystal. Never played with her don't know much about her..she is still R1. It seems she is very good. Then it is to check her out on YT. And I will R5 her if she is good for nacropolis.

I got some horrendous pulls too but I’m happy with most of it

Just be grateful that you have Aegon, I opened 2 abyss nexus, 400k worth of basics , 10 dual crystals and more with never to even see him in any of the reels. I may have to suck it up and do my run with Kate.

I already explored necropolis so nowhere near as fussed about kate anymore, but I would still like her for the collection. It's a pity as she's a champ that I think I could've done really well with in everest content. Btw I think Kate is actually cheaper for necropolis exploration than aegon is, and she's definitely far cheaper for completion, it just takes practise using her and it's a bit longer.

She’s cheaper in the sense of revives, but I’d say you save more on potions with Aegon since you just use the 40% revive and button mash.

Whereas with Kate you ideally want to heal her up so that she can maintain her ramp for a long time with the rooted special block damage etc or just innocent mistakes.

Also imagine losing your debuffs on Kate just because of a bad AI and having to reramp again... Aegon just doesn’t care about that

I absolutely love my Kate. She's r5 and ascended, and that was a choice I made before Necro was even announced. When I realized she'd be good for it, I was ecstatic. Then I got in there and while she was def one of my MVPs (this was before I got Shuri/Aegon), I found it extremely hard to keep her rotation going based on enemy AI, their moveset/distance, or specifically what their Necro node was doing for certain fights.

I eventually gave up on trying to start with Fragility, and just would end up starting with Cryo arrows instead, because I was rarely able to get 3 up to then switch to Cryo to start the damage rolling. I didn't keep notes, but I feel I ended up using Chavez and Odin a bit more.

Every person has their 'white whale' champ, one that just always eludes them. Mine, for the longest time, was Domino. It seems that changed when Hulkling was released, as I've been unable to get him above a 4* despite numerous cosmic nexus crystals. Luck of the draw sometimes just says to take your desires 'n shove them where the sun don't shine.

Damn thats concerning as everyone just mentions that she saves more resources, but doesn’t mention the practicality of the tation/ if its feasible. It would be really frustrating to have to reramp from a bad AI.

Did you try to keep them in the corner with parry heavies, her evade into heavy, or relic into heavy?

Oh yea, definitely. Took advantage of the Crushed debuff, etc. And it DID work a lot of the time, but it wasn't always 100% reliable (for MY run). It was just a lot to keep track of sometimes, not only her rotations, but also how you have to play around certain fights and keep THEIR stuff in check.
