How does Zemo work ?

So, I did a fight with my Kingpin against him in BGs, in gc. I never used parry, heavy, specials and so on, was just doing basic hits, intercepting and all that dance ...from all my purifies, he got lots of fury buffs, just as expected. What i didnt expect tho, was to melt from full hp to 0 in 2 seconds when i was attacking him and got few debuffs on me.
In my mind, that huge attack rating should have never have an effect on those debuffs. He hits me or my block, he gets the megabonus, and then its done. But apparently all those debuffs took advantage of the fury buffs? Is that fair or is it a bug?
I dont have much experience with him, so i said I`d ask here before posting in the bug section.
Whenever the Opponent Purifies a Debuff or is Immune to an effect, Zemo gains a Fury Buff increasing the Attack Rating of his next hit by XXX

It says as "get increased attack rating until next hit".so he gains increased dmg until he lands a hit or into block
The "next hit" it there to replace the usual duration of these effects, since it doesn't have a fixed value duration (ex: 10 seconds). The wording could change a bit to clarify that it only lasts until Zemo next hit, but ultimately it wouldn't make a difference
Kingpin is not a good champion to use against Zemo, because he purifies debuffs.
Zemo punishes champions who purify debuffs. What almost certainly happened to you is that Kingpin went into Overpower by Purifying eight Rage debuffs.
This will have given Zemo eight (very powerful) Fury buffs; each of them massively increasing the damage from any Hazard Shift debuffs; because Hazard Shift relates to your Modified Attack.
That's why you melted.
You purify debuffs against Zemo, he gains furies >
His attack is therefore increased, and the hazard shift debuffs are based on the defender's modified attack, cause you to die in 2 seconds.
The furies are consumed on his next hit, but until that happens his attack is increased - that's just how Furies work.
Everything is working as intended and is described properly.
