I respect that, I'm only speaking what my lawyer confirmed will be safe for me to speak.
I agree with you for 99% of what you're saying outside of using 7-star rank 3's as an anchor point to latch onto for part of the issue at hand. The fact of the matter is, no one, or hardly anyone, was asking or is asking for that out of this event. High-tier paragons and Valiant just want more of the cool stuff we already have. Kabam can close the lid on rank 3s for awhile. Just let us have fun with 6-star rank 5s and 7-star rank 2s. Hell, even 7-star rank 1s. Theres just nothing here for us to be excited about, and it's a genuine shame that the decision was made to ostracize the entire upper end of the player base for this event in favor of mid-tier players.
It feels like they're saying "Thanks for playing our game so much and getting to this highest level. We know this event has been awesome in the past but since you're too invested you need to sit out this time." Just dull vibes all around
1,000,000X rec this is what I’m feeling. Not looking to get a 7* R3 out of this event or anything close. But a new 7* or R2 yeah that would be nice. Or even a 6* R5. None of those would change my progression level or even get me closer to exploring Necro. But it would make an impact on my day to day gaming, whether in AW or BG or other content. The current rewards are focused on helping me awaken another 6* champ and get them to R3, but I don’t need those mats and R3 6* champs are not relevant to my account.

@Warlockjr I personally don’t really care and fine with everything, yeah it could be better but not every event or deals needs to be game changing because I started playing when the game pretty much was released and people are spoiled now.

I was recently thronebreaker, and need new 6*s and other resources, so the banquet does not affect me as much, but condolences to paragon and valiant players out there, wholeheartedly agree that this ain’t the event for you.
