Seriously ??? All this pain passed, a new one for what ? OG Guillotine painted in black ? You made hype with these champions but frankly they look "meh". Nothing "deathless" in Deathless Guillotine. She could at least have same mechanic than awakened Morbius to be a bit deathless. I will chase this last piece because I have others but won't go for other champs. Nice challenge in general but deceptive rewards for the moment (champions not fair regarding to the pain)

I think she's actually better than people realise; it's just that usually there's a better Mystic for the job. On this team (where other Mystics literally aren't allowed), I think she may actually shine; especially if people have a Ghost Rider relic for her. She also gives OG Guilly Critical bleeds, which is a decent synergy for her.

Oh I'm sure G2099 will put in some work, especially the 7*. My thought process however was this: Guillotine has the best damage output out of the four and will probably do most of the fights. The more crit damage rating you give her the faster her crit bleeds will melt with the Purgatory synergy, I figured it'd be better to just run an extra OG Guillotine for synergy purposes (you don't need to rank up or ascend the 5*) only and boost the 6*'s damage even further. Up to you though, I'm sure both will be able to get the challenges done.

My 6* Purgatory has been at R4 sig.200 since like forever. A lot of ppl think she sux only cuz they hear other ppl say it. She's helped me clear tons of endgame content. She's truly at her best with Rintrah's synergy, but even without him on the team, with a captured soul or two +MD she can feel like a cheat code.
I called this character a reskin in earnest before her release. I wanted, so badly, for this to be wrong in practice. Having acquired her as a 7 star, played with her and tested her in a few areas, I am saddened to, but with full conviction say that this character is a reskin. Ive been accused of being pedantic in the past, so Im going to turn that same phrase around here. Unless you adhere to the strictest use of the word reskin, this character, from the animations, to her entire kit, save for a swap from bleed to degen and value tunes I can count on one hand, was copied and pasted. I am shocked at how little effort went into anything except her look- actually I take that back. What I meant to say was her color pallete because, If she wasnt in black and white, it would’ve taken me days to notice the champion was even different.
My only question is, why? Why go through the effort of scattering this champ around the pinnacle of content to just re-release a kit so old that the sp1 isnt even included in the character description? You couldn't even change her ANIMATIONS? Seriously? How long did this take to put her together? It is disrespectful to the designers of Weapon X and Guillotine 2099 to have brought this character into the conversation as an equal- two characters who would literally be impossible to mistake for their original counterparts even if you made their models identical.
PLEASE- if the future deathless champs are going to follow this pattern, tell us. Dont beat around what is going on under the hood- be direct that these characters are value tunes. Not “new kits” or champions harkening to other alternatives we’ve seen in the past- but value tunes, because thats what she is. She is not new, she not reminiscent of the similarities between G2099 and Guillotine or Weapon X and Wolverine- characters with literal novels attached to their character descriptions. She is OG guillotine who places degen. Being honest would put us all on the same page but; years ago, you literally created the vocabulary to describe those changes only to make up something new during a livestream to confuse the issue. This is not a “remix”- this a value tune. We’ve seen them before, the terminology is well referenced with obvious examples but instead you create a new word which obfuscates just how little is different. 3 livestreams where she was a focal point for 10-20 minutes and somehow the fact that 90% of her kit (95 if Im being less generous) would be ripped from OG Guillotine was left out. If this is the direction, just be upfront. If this whole time I knew it was just going to be reintroduction of Guillotine I could’ve gotten behind that, its a quirky idea- fun even! But obviously not when you compare this idea to the overhauls that G2099 gave us then refuse to elaborate until we see for ourselves that it was never the case
And to be fair in the criticism lll provide a standard for what I think “remix” as they described it meant: Red Skull is literally the perfect example of a character who builds on his old mold, but if THAT was the amount of variance we saw, you could paint him whatever color you like and he’d be a valid “remix”. He shares a bedrock of abilities but is so different in style that its not at all the same red skull- not even close! Ill be careful to distinguish as well, that him being changed for the better isnt the issue I have- its that DGuillotine clearly got 1/3 the attention if that when it came to distinguishing her from the OG
