My son purchased a package on my phone and then opened a ton of crystal and bought potions galore. How do I get this undone and purchase canceled?

Talk to Apple about the purchase, similar thing happened to me and Apple reversed the transaction. You won’t get any help from kabam about the ingame stuff, but if you’re dead set on it, then talk to support. They won’t help but there’s a chance they’ll misunderstand you and give you some units.

Items won’t be restored. And if you go through Kabam first, they may ban you if you go through Apple after that.

No. You won't get banned if you dispute a purchase. If you didn't buy it, there's a process in place for it. As for restoring Items, there is a limited amount Support can do. If the Crystals have been opened, I don't believe they can refund the Units. Your best option is to contact both Support and Apple and explain the situation.

    How old is your son?

A good friend disputed a purchase with Kabam and was told they wouldn’t help. He went through Apple and got it refunded. They must have flagged his account, because he was perma banned a couple days later. Just go through Apple, don’t alert support.

There was no "letting" going on. I have an iphone and the MCOC is permanently logged in. Son grabs phone opens game, makes purchase, buys and opens tons of stuff. Done.

Their ToS also states that you should log out after each session to prevent this from happening, and you're responsible whether you allowed it or not. Kabam is probably not going to be a help in your situation, and could potentially ban your account for violating the ToS.

Another option besides contacting Apple would be to contact your credit card company and explain that you didn't make the purchase and your son was not authorized to use the card and ask for a charge back. This is probably your best chance of getting your money back, although Apple and Kabam won't be too happy. However, if you try to get your money back from Apple or your cc company, eventually word will get to Kabam about the ToS violation, and you'll risk a ban. Depending on the dollar amount, how much you really need that money, and how much you have monetarily/emotionally invested in the game, it might not be worth the risk. In any case, best of luck no matter what you decide to do.

It is either password or fingerprint recognition for purchases on apple devices. And then there’s a second confirmation where you click ‘buy’ after agreeing to said terms and conditions. Not sure there will be any scope here.

This will happen im afraid. Think about it, as far as Kabam are concerned you purchased these goods, then because you didnt like what you got, you asked for an unfair refund from Apple. Kabam provided what you asked for, but you then dont pay. This is from their side remember. So they would then be justified in banning your account, as you "stole" from them

There are quiet a few on Reddit where this happened to them as well. One guy got 3K back, 2 days later lost account. He was deffoed, really would rather have had his account

So be careful before you do this, I would suggest letting Kabam know to begin with, not Apple. They are people in support, and despite what is said, they are actually quite good as well. Explain the situation, im sure they can check your account and confirm what happened, and if this is the case they will help. Again, linked an example yesterday to a player whose account was hacked and champs sold. Kabam replaced at least 80% of them for him

Do Apple ONLY after you have tried this way

You literally described why you shouldn’t do that, and then suggest that he does it. Kabam support is only effective in certain instances, they won’t help in this player’s case.

Unless your kid dropped $100's is it really that big of a deal?

I mean sure it probably sucks, but I'm thinking that I would probably at worst shrug my shoulders and at best laugh it off.

If he spent $$ and that's important then go through Apple to try and get it back knowing that you may not be able to play again.

Otherwise, live and learn and keep your little one (assuming they are young) off the phone.

Actually you are wrong it is a violation of tos under fraud. So yes he can get banned for going to apple and getting a refund. Now will he? I don’t know and nether do you but it is a possibility.

That's not Fraud. If there is a situation where the purchase wasn't made by the Account Holder, they can ask for the charges to be reversed. It's only Fraud if the reason is dishonest.

Fraud would be claiming that any and all purchases made on the game were not of your permission, and continuing to play regardless. It's not Fraud if you're contesting an accidental purchase made.

It's fraud to ask the money back (and get it back) after already spending the items.

It's like if your kid goes to the store, buys a bunch of candy, eats most of it and you get all of the money back from the store, but don't return all the candy. That's fraud. You can't get the money back if the candy has been eaten, regardless of who bought it, who paid for it and who ate it.

Kabam has been pretty consistent in saying that the security of your account is your own responsibility...they may not help you.

I think it depends on the settings on the phone. May not necessarily need to enter a password or anything every time.
