AQ Raid Backup

What is everyone doing with backup?
Just waiting until the end of the week to send him down a path?
Will it mess anything up doing a boss with 4 people? Just do a ramp with 3 and add the 4th in to do extra damage? If he claims revives all week will, I assume they go to the stash. If that's the case he'll just be able to clean up whatever straggler boss is left and do a bunch in a row on Ultron. Sound about right?

    I believe I read/heard that the free revives have a really short expiration once they go into stash. Just make sure your backup checks once he claims them.

    We are waiting till end of week to see where help is needed. Don’t want to send them in too early with a specific role just yet

    Isn't it that back-ups have to join on Day 1 to participate?? Seen a message circulating in LINE to that effect.

    If you don’t need your daily revives right away, hold off buying them in store until later on in the “day”. (But do get them every day at some point)

    That way on a day you need them to do fights, you will still have the 2 overflow from previous day still not expired yet in cache, as well as being able to get 2 more for current day.

    Note, looks like they reset 1 hour earlier than the normal AQ starting time each day.
    So 1pm US-Eastern, 10am Pacific.

    And, what is the Cache Timer Expiration for these ??
    Will see later on today when next pair become available to buy in Store, as to how long they can be held in Cache.

    @GinjabredMonsta may want to look at heinz pic. Backup needs to join day one.. making them not a true back up

    We asked the main Raid dev about this, and he said no you don’t need to join on Day 1. You need to be Enlisted and have the Raid start on Day 1, but that doesn’t affect individual members themselves joining after Monday

    Aaargh (not at you but the in-game text). I've now joined as back-up due to my officers seeing this and taking it as written.

    Cache timer for Raids revives is 24 hours.

    Maybe Plan your backup to be your two weakest players, getting them to rotate through the lane. Technically, you should be able to finish that grouping a day or so earlier, then they can use an extra day’s revives starting early on the Ultron.

    They should extend the cache timer to a whole week. Raids are a once a month, no? So you can carry only two max month to month. This is akin to side quest being able to be batched out instead of having to get in daily. With the level of coordination needed it would make things significantly smoother. Backup would get his full 15 chances to attack.
    My alliance is global as well. We're just running one BG now, but making 9 sets of compatible time zones would be a chore. Getting 9 players together hasn't been super easy.

    Any word on the item limit? Daily? Weekly? That will affect strategy a lot moving forward. I would probably use glory revives and 9.5K's on bosses like Kang and the save big boys for the tougher fights.

    Well, one of my alliance mates ran vanguard and brung an assault champ so he had to be backed up immediately 😂
