    And symbiote supreme

I used 6r3 symbiote supreme against Hyperion in the easy path of 8.3.6. He did that fight and most of the path easy.

Chavez, you can wif 2-3 quick heavys and it reverses his powergain

Confirmed Chavez works very well as I just discovered this trick recently. Satisfying to see the power gain reversed.

Aside from all the options that have been mentioned already, another good choice is Spider-Gwen.

Not sure if it’s been said, but I used to use iceman vs him all the time. You just tank the S3 if he gets there.

@Phlexus What do you mean “whiff heavies”?

In the past I used KM for many of the all or nothing nodes. Just use your SP2 and you can take SP3s.

Too bad even an ascended Magic is too slow nowadays for a really chunky Hyperion… I really feel she is due for being released as a 6* and 7*… There are many counters where she doesn’t really work… purify, miss mechanics, reflecting damage etc…

Luke Cage and Doc Ock are some of the more unique ones

Luke Cage - can tank SP3s + his exhaustion debuffs can mitigate Hype's powergain

Doc Ock - he can keep Hyperion powerlocked very easily, despite his class disadvantage. Just spam SP1s and Hype is easy to deal with

I tend to use Doc Ok as well as my standard Hyperion counter. Keeping Hyperion power locked makes him so much easier to deal with.

Symbiote Supreme (awakened or not) will nullify his power gain passively.

Black widow clairevoyant on poison cycle shuts him down, or like mentioned anyone with buff removal or prevention.

Void can reverse his power gain. Need some good RNG with his debuff order.

Spidey Supreme is the best since spidey can stop his power gain and gain the same power for himself.

I have not seen Red Hulk listed. He has taken down Hyperion as a defender in Battlegrounds for me a number of times.
He may not have been the best counter for this last season but he sluffs off hyperions special 1 attack.

    Kind of a conundrum.
Why revive a post or why didn’t you search for previous posts?

Which is better. Do we need a poll?
