For the charges bug. The one where charges were disappearing, and the one where there was no damage boost in the actual fight itself no matter how many charges you builded up.
The "charge bug" is the same cross-fight bug that has been present in the game (most noticeably, in Incursions) for years across every game mode. If a disconnect happens, or if you force quit the app, the fight loses those cross fights / etc.

I'm not saying it's not an awful bug - it is, and hopefully, it will be fixed everywhere in the future.
I just don't see how you go about sending compensation for a bug like this that isn't Raid exclusive, has been present for years, and didn't impact the majority of players.

I wouldn't say no to free stuff, I love free stuff and always welcome any & all free stuff - but it would make a lot more sense to me to ask for compensation if the first Raid week wasn't free to play - since the only form of compensation would likely be Raid tickets lol

It just seems more efficient to ask for another free week next month 🤷🏻‍♀️
That would be fine in a vacuum where 29 other people don't care if you finish the raid. Some of us (myself included) spent resources (and money) after having our charges wiped on Maestro (twice!) to try and make up the lost time not just for us, but our team.

I do agree that at some point, item usage and spending becomes ludicrous, but this is the game mode that was rolled out to us and at the end of the day, we're an alliance looking to compete for rewards. So, I think that to say we don't deserve compensation just because admittance was free isn't necessarily fair.

    Big fan btw!
Why didn't you use some of that 25k-30k glory from the bug on revives instead of using units and actual money?
Short answer: I did. But, as you should know, there are rules to the glory store, including 4 team revives per week. Could be 15k glory, could be 150k glory. All you get is 4 revives for the week homie!
If all your alliance teammates bought four of those + the two daily ones from the store and it still wasn't enough then I don't think the bug is the one to blame here homie! Sounds more like a skill issue to me.

Claiming an unintended bug is essentially *compensation* is silly. I also don’t think it’s an approach we should encourage the team to take.

If anything is provided, it should be aimed at remedying punitive effects of charge wiping. That “feature” of Raids wasn’t disclosed or discussed, nor (to my knowledge) was it addressed by the team during the week, even though it was brought up extensively in forums.

    Dr. Zola

But they allowed us to play Raids for free. Why would they give us compensation after they allowed us to play something and claim rewards for free? No resources spent, we lost nothing. It's just odd.
We're not really in a position to be asking for compensation, nobody spent a single piece of glory in tickets.
Oh but my alliance mates spend lots of units because of the bugs.. my mate who isn't as skilled but has x amount of units wanted the best experience for us so he used his units to get us some charges. Needed to do this 2/3 times because the charges where gone? That's just dissapointing and sad.. he was so happy he got us the 10 charges..
So their thought process after encountering a bug was spend more resources on something that was obviously bugged? Are we really living in a world where common sense doesn't exist?
It's a bug dude sometimes it happens sometimes it don't but this one was common and we didn't know! First time playing raid we *HE wanted it done. + the rewards everyone was tempting.. ofcourse you willing to spend resources for the 3th time if you have the most difficult boss finally at 26%
Doubt it was that common if we didn't see hundreds of complaints about it on the forums (I definitely saw a couple but there weren't that many) and nobody in my alliance had it happen to them.

Even if it was common though, we got like 25k-30k glory that same week. Why didn't your teammates buy revives with some of that glory instead of spending units? (Don't say they spent it all cause store takes days to refresh lol)
They did. But it wasn't enough because of the skill it took. But they still wanted to keep the team effort up and running and not just quit and leave the other stronger players to it. The unintentional glory bug has nothing to do with asking for compensation. I'm not even saying they should give use game breaking comp.. another 180 free tickets could be fine too so we can try again now we know how things work, what to do and what not to doo and they worked the bugs out of raids (most of them)
The glory bug already gave you another free entry my guy.

    Keyword: skill.
So the bug wasn't to blame here, that's all I wanted to confirm, nice talk!

If you're someone who didn't experience the bug, perhaps you should leave your speculation out of it. I'm in a top 70 AQ alliance and we are quite capable.

If you think you can do 10% to a boss per attempt while ramping up, having your charges wiped, ramping up again, having them wiped again, and have that be a "skill issue," you are mal informed, friend.

Look like you are proud of your skill, but this is not the key for the content, Kabam created this for revenue, not for a few players with fancy skills to show off on forum.

Kabam is doing business with this game, from business perspective, this game mode should be tuned, compensation is fair, my two cents.

That is incorrect, skill is indeed the key for this type of content and they said it multiple times on stream. This content is extremely challenging and not for everyone.

10% on your first fight absolutely not, however if everyone got 6-7 charges on their first fights you can hit the cap with certain champs or get pretty close to hitting it at least on the second fight.
My second fight with a r4 Cassie (one of the worst champs for Raids) the first day was 7%, I even made a post about it.
What this means is only the first fight is truly the ramp up fight (where you get barely any damage), you can easily start dealing damage on the second and continue to ramp up if you know what you're doing. Again, sounds like a skill issue to me but if you say it wasn't I believe you 😃 good luck with the compensation, friend

Ok then, I’m not going to convince you, let’s see if they will tune it or not, I personally think they should and they will, I’m barking now because I think they should do it sooner.

I'm aware how raids work. I too frequent the forums, watch videos, and even play the game on a regular basis. Shoot, I too even made a post about this very issue! It's on my profile if you'd like to fact check it.

The fact that you're here in this thread telling people who encountered this bug that they have skill issues is plainly insulting. You can disagree with compensation all you want, but there are much better ways to do it.

The reason I'm calling it a skill issue is because (as you can see above) it was a skill issue for one person indeed and they pretty much admitted it already.
I find it really hard to believe someone had to deal with a ton of dcs when some alliances didn't have a single dc. If yours actually did then I do apologize but again, I don't think the issue was common and game breaking enough to warrant compensation considering the entry was free and we received over 25k glory that same week.

    Compensation for what?

    Big fan btw!
This is a very fair point - and I empathize with it a lot. Obviously, worth noting, I'm not even slightly involved with whether or not there is compensation for Raids - but, I do understand how it would be frustrating to feel "forced" to spend your way through the rest of Raids after a crash, whether it be with resources or real money.
The pressure to 100% the map in a team mode is definitely very real.

In a perfect world, the bugs don't exist - and in a slightly less perfect world, there's a magic button that replenishes any resources spent due to bugs (in any game mode).

Myself & others have already given lots of feedback to the powers that be to hopefully alleviate some Raid frustrations going forward... hopefully, the experience is improved for everybody soon.

Also, hey, thanks - I'm a big fan of you 🫶🏻
So you do realize there are frustrations and “doable” is not good enough, people spent their real money in a beta which is not well tuned and with bugs, this is why people are asking for compensation, since you questioned in the first reply.

Eh... They could give you a few AQ revives and Pots i guess... Not sure if the raid 100% revives even go into overflow...now the question is the quantity...
I personally think that a free round has better value.
What I am surprised at is that...people are so worked up over it and there is still like 2 weeks left until the next raid...

A free round is probably the best to hope for—helpful to the team to have larger sample size for bug checks, helpful to players because it carries some acknowledgement things weren’t quite ready for prime time the first week.

I do believe its the best value and resort..
If thet do revs and pots then you are going to have a thread with people saying "Hey I used 2x as much as the compensation blahblah"... Seen it happen way too many times with bugs on other game modes. One that comes to mind was the EoP overseer bug and they sent a few revives and pots... People got so mad...

I think you miss the point…Raids 1.0 was for all intents and purposes a live beta, regardless of whether the team admits that or not. While I cannot speak to other bugs mentioned here, I can speak to the charge wiping aspect specifically and personally.

Dropping 30+ hard earned charges because of a single DC by one player in your lane works to erase a lot of collective effort. Do you think most respectable players simply leave their alliance mates hanging when that happens? Do they throw up their hands and just wait until their free revives the next day to start over?

I find it naive to suggest the team didn’t think alliances would use AQ pots or other non-free resources to clear lanes in their Raids Beta. To the extent resource usage was driven by design flaws, that’s precisely the appropriate spot for a remedy.

    Dr. Zola
That is correct, a live beta for a game mode which usually has a cost but was completely free this time and they even gave you two revives per day, all 100% free. Not to mention, 30k glory which they could've and should've taken away from us but didn't.

That is exactly what I did as soon as I found out about the bug, why? Cause it's a new game mode, bugs are expected. Like I said, zero common sense, why would anyone have a logical reason to beat a dead horse?
You did “exactly what”? Stopped and waited until the next day after your charges were wiped? Not sure what point you were making there.

You seem very invested in proving something in this thread, because you’ve got at least 3-4 sidebar arguments going on and you’re losing most of them. Take a breather: you’ve argued on one hand that players who got hosed by wiped charges and used resources lack skill, and in the next post you’ve suggested tuning down Raids content because the nodes and missions were too exacting.

Like Mike said, there’s a ton of pressure in a team mode to not let your mates down. I know this, the team knows this and I’m sure you know it also. It’s not illogical to step up to try to help your mates. Our BG had three DCs on our lane alone—and we’re not playing on dial-up.

If you think offsetting some of the resources players used last week is a bad idea, then you’ve made that clear. If you think the Glory bug was intended to be compensation for a bugged Beta, then you’re free to think that. Others disagree with you, and there was ample opportunity for the team to say that (and other things) during the Beta week. But you’re now making the same point over and over and that is quite literally “beating a dead horse.”

    Dr. Zola
Oh I'm not trying to prove anything here, and I don't care if I'm "losing" most of them or if people disagree. I don't need validation from the forums to call out your entitlement.

I did indeed, why? Cause you had extra glory (which came from a bug) which you could've used to buy extra revives and compensate for the charges bug. Instead you're arguing that you had to waste a ton of resources because the bug was so game breaking and so common. If it was, what happened to all the complaints during Raid week then? Cause I didn't see that many.
It's not the missions, it's the pierce being a little too strong which a lot of people did complain about many times, unlike the charges bug.

We're both simultaneously beating a dead horse if that's your logic. I take it you're done then? Lol

The choice to spend was your choice. You weren't forced to spend anything. The event was free to run and you didn't have to spend anything just to test the mode out.

This is exactly how battlegrounds started. It was free to try and you got rewards as you went along.

I still can't understand how you're not getting that.

Again, it’s totally fine if you think Kabam should keep the raid unchanged and not give a dime to us, I wouldn’t try to change your mind.

So what should the comprnsation be?.. Ballpark.. just round it up and tell us what you think compensation for spending "real money" should be...
Revives and potions? I gave my feedbacks many times already.
Eh... They could give you a few AQ revives and Pots i guess... Not sure if the raid 100% revives even go into overflow...now the question is the quantity...
I personally think that a free round has better value.
What I am surprised at is that...people are so worked up over it and there is still like 2 weeks left until the next raid...
A free round is probably the best to hope for—helpful to the team to have larger sample size for big checks, helpful to players because it carries some acknowledgement things weren’t quite ready for prime time the first week.

True. There’s literally no way to quantify it fairly. Personally, I used only a few revives from overflow, but I know others who used more as well as some from the threads active towards end of week. Also know of a couple of CCP players whose BG got hosed by the charges bugs as well, so I’m hopeful it’s front and center for the team to address before next time.

Of course, if the team had openly announced Raid week as a live beta, with all of the attendant caveats, a lot of this might have been avoided.

The choice to spend was your choice. You weren't forced to spend anything. The event was free to run and you didn't have to spend anything just to test the mode out.

This is exactly how battlegrounds started. It was free to try and you got rewards as you went along.

I still can't understand how you're not getting that.
I don’t think Kabam will say the same, because they do rely on feedbacks, and they changed BG a lot based on feedbacks, now I’m giving feedbacks, and you are telling me don’t do it?

Again, it’s totally fine if you think Kabam should keep the raid unchanged and not give a dime to us, I wouldn’t try to change your mind.
Yes. Give aaaaalllllllllllll the feedback you want. Feedback is great.

Feedback isn't "we spent thousands of units so give us compensation". Feedback is-

Pierce is too strong and comes too fast for the fight.

Ramping up charges for the fight should be quicker.

DoT champs should have their DoTs scale with the attack charge buffs.

Healthpools are a bit too high or scale the fight for 15% instead of 10%.

Those are examples of feedback. Telling people 100 times that people in your alliance quit for what's essentially a beta test of a game mode that they could have done without spending isn't feedback.

I never said Raids should stay the same. Any conversation I've had about raids here in the forums and in alliance chats/friendly chats has been that it definitely needs to be tuned. The feedback in this comment are just a few of the things I think should be looked at.

Again, be constructive. You've done nothing but basically repeat yourself and you keep telling people things that they never said. You're not reading comments, you're responding blindly.
Well, I gave all my feedbacks like this a week ago, you didn't see it does means I didn't do it, you are not the only smart guy here, I'm involving this thread because I don't agree with you guys on this particular topic, you are not more constructive than anyone else IMO.

    Compensation for what?

It's supposed to be hard content.
It may have launched too hard, and there's a ton of validity in wanting it to be toned down a bit going forward - but the content was perfectly doable and was finished by dozens of alliances at all skill levels.

Besides the tens of thousands of extra Glory, the first Raid week was also free to enter & didn't require Raid Tickets.

I think they want compensation for the charges bug but yes I agree, not only was it free but we got like 30k glory for free so I don't want any compensation. They already gave me more stuff than I deserved with the glory alone lol.
The glory alone could easily get you into 4 more raids which was the best part about it imo
Yeah that's why I'm not complaining. I got 2k Titan shards and like 30k glory for free. I also have another 180 tickets ready for next month and with the rest of the glory I got two new r4s and one r2 7* I can't really complain.
I really call BS on this. The store reset twice since the glory bug. The quantity of r4 materials was just increased last week but assuming the quantity of r4 materials was increased 2 weeks ago, assuming you bought 3 weeks worth of t3a and t6b, you would have got 9 of each. To get 2 new r4’s and 1 new r2, you need 15 of each. How did you manage to get 2 new r4’s and 1 r2?

I had some materials saved up I didn't have to buy everything lmao the catalysts weren't the biggest issue for me it was the gold.
