You are correct. I initially thought of the 6* piece in the deathless store (for 30k trophy tokens)… that one is available for 4 months…
Also, now that I think about it: It would have been nice if the guillotine unit-offers had been revealed BEFORE the 6* guillotine pieces left the deathless store…
That way, if the 7* pieces turn out to be 100k units per piece, then people would still be able to purchase their missing 6* pieces for the normal price (being 30k troph tokens, 150k incursion artifacts etc…)
As someone that is (was) determined to purchase the last missing 7* piece for units I didn‘t bother to buy the 6* pieces, since the 6* champ comes together with the 7*, anyway. Now, if it turns out I cannot afford the last 7* piece, I will be SOOL…

nothing has been officially confirmed, but jax i believe said that they were talking about having some kind of challenge where you need to use the deathless champs to awaken them.

By any chance: Are there any second thoughts on introducing stepped pricing? Like 3k for the first, 5k for the second and 7k for the third selector? That‘s still 15k for all three!

Hopefully we will get a way to awaken her that involves manageable challenges rather than selectors.

Perhaps as some kind of final prize with Deathless Thanos?
7-star Awakening Gems don't exist in the game yet; and even when they do, having been designed as a largely decorative champion, there's no Earthly reason to use one on Guillotine until they're so common as to be almost worthless.
Given that the announced design intentions for Deathless champions were for them to be fun rather than powerful/meta, it seems counter-intuitive to leave them forever unawakened as 7*s.
