  I liked gifting, those small parts of the game that encouraged interaction helped in some way to build this community.

  It has brought more issues with it than it's worth in my opinion, and I get why they stopped it. Wish they could solve the issues it has, but it's hard. So it's for the best

  Sad to see it go and want it returned!

  It always sucks when people ruin a good thing for others who engage with it fairly. I’ve enjoyed gifting as part of the Gifting Event, but also the smaller versions like Lunar New Year and more recently the Cap’s Enlistment event. Sad to see it go. I hope someday it can return in a format that can’t be exploited, even if it just something small (not the December event)

  It would have been nice to let this one continue one more time and let us know it will not return like they have done with the other versions of gifting in the past. To basically announce the event and say no gifting of red envelopes is just another example of lack of transparency.

  One one hand. Gifting was really fun and I'm sad to see it go. On the other hand, the most fun part about gifting was being able to open the crystals and maybe earn points in a solo and ally event so as long as we can still do those two things in other ways I guess its fine but still kinda stinks

  I liked it but there's no denying that people were abusing it. All we can do now is hope that they take notes from the banquet and just really load up their prizes so that way you won't have to seek third party vendors or black markets.

  There should be an option "Sad to see it go but understand why it's gone". Gifting was great but just opened the door to bots and exploits so if stopping that means stopping gifting completely, that's fine by me. The new banquet format works just as fine and I personally had no issue with the rewards so while gifting was fun I have no problem that it won't come back.

  Yes but they farmed the units to buy the revives. Farming is farming whether it's units or revives.

  Yes but they farmed the units to buy the revives. Farming is farming whether it's units or revives.

  Stocking 40 revives on 5 alts is different than saving that many units
  
  I used to have alts and I would auto run SQs to stock units for gifting, it was great
  
  But I don't miss logging in and running multiple accounts on multiple devices
