Just had something similar happen with AQ Map 7 Heimdall. Stood in the corner doing nothing but blocking for two full cycles of unstoppable. Finally went to hit into his block and, naturally, got intercepted into a 5 hit combo.
It's like there is either no want, or desire to correct these issues or at least be transparent about them. The silence says it all.
Sweep them under the rug and hope the community quietly goes away is how they're "responding" 😆
In fairness, I don’t think it’s an easy fix—there’s likely so many code layers that it’s like a giant Jenga.
However, I do think we are long due an update. And…if that update isn’t “we’ve fixed it,” then we are long due the kind of recurring relief that used to accompany issues like these.
The drop input issue is getting way worse . In battleground I parry the opponents but they don’t get stunned at all. But straight up do a heavy and when I try to dex the heavy again my dex is delayed and bam I die

Sometimes I dash back or try to use special and the game registers that as Striker and then...well my striker hits the opponents block and I die
Partially dexing specials is almost impossible Either you have to dex the full duration or block the full duration of special If you try to partially dex(apocalypse, WS, war machine sp1, etc) the game either completely ignores your input and your champ keeps on blocking or the game registers it as dropping block and you get smacked straight in the face.
It's really disappointing that so many issues are appearing after the supposed "fix" for other bugs
It's almost as if the bugs and issues are going Hydra mode "Cut off one bug, and two more shall take its place"

Agreed. I understand it's not an easy fix, but there should at least be continuous transparent communication and updates, especially since they know these issues are persistent, instead of just leaving us in the dark.
And yes, that recurring relief that made dealing with the constant issues tolerable, should be in their conversations. I mentioned that a while back, but of course it was met with trolls.
Battlegrounds is a bigger sham this month. When I have to lose, no matter how well I play, I'll lose, by hook or crook (pun intended). And then, just to keep me playing, it will throw in a win or two ever so often. Win one, lose one. Or, win one, lose two. Like clockwork, skill be damned.
It's becoming too obvious now. Even KT1 spoke of similar stuff in this video.

Am I crazy or has the AI and missed inputs continuously gotten worse since the revive nerf? It was bad before but somehow we were getting used to it I guess. But now it is much much much worse! Couple that with ridiculous new defenders (communicated about Kabam in another thread already) and plethora of difficult defensive node combination, it is getting borderline frustrating to unplayable at times. Then we have a sudden increase in difficult to end game content.
I would also like to add that I'm on the same boat as many that we don't want compensation, we want the game we love to play fixed. However, I would say that with all the above mentioned there should be some form of compensation that gives revives and health potions to COMPENSATE for all the deaths from AI being an absolute menace (passiveness is part of it, it is very selective), bugs, lags, and input control issues amongst other things that are wrong with the game today because that is costing us revives and potions left, right and centre when facing increasingly difficult content, defenders and nodes.
When we say no to compensation but ask for fixes, that doesn't mean no compensation while everything becomes frustratingly difficult with no ETA for fixes.
For some reason, the AI is able to use specials faster than me after getting knocked out by a heavy and getting up from it. I used my sp but saw hulkling using his sp2 instead. And I died..
Few other issues that I have been having for a very long time now is dexing mid long specials to reduce chip damage. But it completely ignored the swipe action and keeps the block on
Even when I do it with my right thumb (holding block with my left -> swiping left with my right). It works normally but doesn't register at all during specials (this happens in any form of content)
Same happened to me. I knocked down Green Goblin, then threw my Sp 1. The AI was able to immediately block it while in the middle of getting back up. AI was still leaning back when my special hit it.
In battlegrounds, the victory is decided at: -50% : will the AI be cooperative and not turtle in a corner, holding for 1min their special attack -50% : will my controls work as they should (drop inputs and so on)
And I'm not speaking about other aspects of the game (ridiculous amount of overly complicated side quests, release ad nauseam of top notch defenders, despicable war global node and so on).
All I know is that because all of that, I lost fun playing this game and stopped to financially endorse it (didn't buy the double track and I don't intend to buy any deal in the future).
And they say the devs know what's best for the game. Let me laugh, please. I wish they listen to us, because without players, it doesn't matter if the devs are right.

The overide has been obvious. AI holds on to it's special for eternity. As soon as your fingers closes in on the special button, the AI senses it and throws it's special. Funny how it refused to throw it just seconds prior to that, no matter how much you try to bait it. As soon as it "thinks" you're about to throw yours, it wants to beat you to it 😂
And don't actually push your special button because it won't work. The AI makes sure of that.

1. Double mediums getting parried 2. AI recovery immediately after fifth hit in combo without time to parry or block 3. Striker button malfunction 4. Input drop 5. Frame rate breakdown: sometimes stutter, sometimes freeze 6. Generally slow loading: sometimes it takes several seconds to move in a quest, pop crystals or transition from screen to screen 7. Ineffective AI manipulation in champ kits: taunt, Shulk fury, etc.
Game is the worst it's ever been. Can't get 3 BG fights in a row without crashing. Opponents will not use Sp when needing them to to gain energy. Game lags & crashes more than it ever has but yet Kascam says it's working fine. Spend some of that cash grab money & either fix the game already.

Anybody get this reaction, when you’re tapping your special and your character just stands still having a seizure? Clearly the game is registering your command, but it’s not launching? Besides ai and all the other issues, what a mess…

It’s getting worse and worse everyday there’s almost no point in playing right now, it’s a bummer
I was playing BGs yesterday and had dropped inputs AGAIN. My champ would have gotten wrecked if I had not immediately recognized the dropped input, and reacted with the unparalled speed of the AI when it's cheating (blocking while in the middle of getting back up, after getting knocked down lol).
I was playing the Showcase last night against Venom and my special wouldn't go off. I was not special locked. Then I got wrecked in 2 hits. At least it was the first fight so I could restart without having to use a revive. It is 5 energy per node though. A new trend. Energy is depleting fast now with input failures on first or second fights requiring a restart for the unwillingness to use a revive so early in a quest.
We have increased difficulty, AI on drugs, revive farms gone, input failures, and lags. A perfect storm. Also no response. Can we at least get an acknowledgement that this is being looked into?
I've noticed recently that if I'm holding block going into the fight, the game straight up doesn't recognize my finger is holding the screen to block. And I'll eat a combo. I've held block going into hundreds of fights, why is the game now punishing me for it?

This is also super frustrating! Used to be able to block some bullets on falcons sp1 then dex the end of it, but these days the game does nothing, or drops block when I try to dex the end.
