I used to like the 1v1 Quick Match arena for trying out new characters when I got them at whatever rarity and getting a screenshot of them for my collection.
Also remember the event where we had to have certain characters for the side-quest and Kabam replaced the quick match crystal with a special one with 2* versions of those gated characters and I needed VTD and did 50 matches in a row to get the crystals before I finally got that bloody duck. Don't remember how many I opened before I got him, but I'd already done a load before that 50 match, so it was probably 50 odd crystals all told.
I think that's part of why "I 'ate that duck" to quote Cuddles.

Old school that I remember when this was a Facebook flash game and we didn’t have to download a ridiculous file size on our phone and we could just open our Facebook and just play the game with zero problem . Seriously why is this game so large ? It’s ridiculous

Was it the Mystic adaptoid?
I believe it was. Magneto’s sp2 looked right for it.
(related to 1v1 Quick Match, but much earlier) 5v5 Arena actually existed for some special arena at least once.

SIM placed on AW boss node (or regen node ?) with that extra Health boost that also applied to his Regen / Arc Overload.
Best attacker back in the day, Iron Fist (was it Armor Break ?)
And T3CC Daily Quest (Mutant day) (even before ROL), ouch that Wolvie Regen made things hard using my best (mid ranked) 3* against him, especially on the higher difficulty path side.
I remember when you couldn't dupe your champion, 3* was the highest. The game was all about skills and not about money. There where no alliances, they didn't show up until 5 months in.
Defeating RoL Wolvie with three star SL at an 1100 combo.
That was such a hassle. Doing RoL took forever and the first guy completing had to wait for rewards cause kabam didn't think anyone would manage so quickly.
I remember when titles actually ment something and you worked like crazy to get it. Nowadays there are to many and there's no real point to them anymore. That's why I use quack fu master. If my memory serve, that was the very first unique title you could earn and not get free.

Remember how 4* sentinel was able to cheese variant 3?
How about the caustic temper path in v4 where you need 1* hulk? That quest was one of the reason they removed champ selling option.
STILL hate that that “was not intended”. I assumed the second one hit because Drax was invisible at that moment…
