Kabam Support - Is this a Bug?

So in any ordinary BGs Season, you can claim the elder marks/trophy tokens milestone rewards even after they've expired from your Stash from the milestones page. I find this really beneficial as I could grind BGs whenever i have the time for it, while balancing work/family etc.

Cause of this I assumed it would work similarly for the BGs Realm Event, and in fact when the realm milestone rewards expired from my stash, i was still able to see the option to click "claim".

However when I looked a few days ago, i noticed the milestones that once let me "Claim" even after they expired from stash, were now already showing as "Claimed" as shown below.

Note: I never actually claimed them myself even though they are appearing like this

Due to this , I made a ticket with Support and they are telling me "Once an item expires in the reward screen, it is no longer claimable, and that is the intended design. ". However theres 2 points I can make that counter this.
1) The regular BGs alliance event milestones do let you claim the rewards from the page even when it expires from stash
2) I tested it myself by having a specific milestone expire from stash last night before i went to bed, and i can still see it claimable from the Realm Event Milestone as we currently speak (see below 2 screenshots)


This is the 200mill milestone about to expire from last night



This is as of right now, lets me still claim the rewards for that specific milestone even though it expired from Stash.

Based on the above, I must ask. Is this a bug? or is Kabam Support misinformed of their policy? And what was the original intent with these Realm event milestone rewards once they expire from stash? Because I'm pretty sure if i dont do anything right now and just let the rewards sit without claiming anything , that eventually its going to show that 200m milestone as "Claimed"

    DLL already has publically stated that you can claim them even if they expire in your stash. You've always been able to do this with BG alliance rewards if you didn't immediately want the elders marks.

    So then, why is Kabam Support essentially telling me the exact opposite in this screenshot?

    My original concern was that the milestones here showed as claimed even though I never actually claimed them myself.


    But when I made the ticket, and told them what you said while referencing that it always worked this way with the BGs alliance events, thats what they said in the snippet I attached

    Which is correct.

    Now, they did clarify slightly further (although not completely in depth) saying “once an item expires in the reward screen”.
    However this answer really is not fully specific enough, you are interpreting that to be “once it expired from STASH REWARDS screen”, which they technically didn’t say.

    “Rewards screen” to me would be in any place that you can claim the rewards at. If it expires from all such places, they you can not get it back.

    **Offhand, I would venture to say that maybe you DID claim those Milestones before. Unless you were specifically and knowingly NOT claiming them (from anywhere), in an attempt to test out the system.

    But if you just don’t remember claiming them, and since they could be claimed from 2 different places, and since there are frankly just way too many of these different Events to be keeping track of this month, I’d venture to say you did claim them from somewhere.

    If you do another follow up with Support, maybe your question should be “does the system show that I actually Claimed these milestones, and does it show WHEN I claimed them. And can the system see the increase in those items from the time that the system says I claimed them ?”

    @Heruzu369 , If you are waiting to claim them until later, can you come back later and show us that indeed they are still over in the Event Milestones area available to Claim still (even after no longer showing in Stash).

    Here you go. You can see the 250mil milestone still available to be claimed whereas it’s expired from my stash.

    I get what youre saying but thats a technicality at this point, they should be familiar with the marks being claimable after the rewards expire from stash. As if they aren't then its just going to be misinformation at that point.

    And also its needed to have that knowledge in order to be able to assist with my issue in the items being claimed without me actually claiming them.

    I can assure you that i didnt claim those as I very distinctly have a memory in my head of seeing the stash with the red numbers that indicate its going to expire soon up.

    Support does their best, but they aren't the most well-versed when it comes to questions like this. I'd trust DLL, one of the devs, over support in this case.

    And @Graves_3 above (thanks) has shown that they DON'T get auto-claimed upon expiring from Stash.
    And that they don't get marked as Claimed even though they weren't claimed.
    And that they don't somehow get forfeited from being able to claim either upon expiring from Stash.
    Not so long as the Event itself is still running.

    (*now there’ll probably be alliance switchers coming in saying “wait that's not true, I can’t claim some”, but that is a different issue)

    Allow me to fire back with a rebuttal as I managed to find the screenshot I was referring to.



    As you can see here, i have the 20m and 50m marker milestones expiring from stash, and this screenshot was taken before I went to bed, so how could I have possibly claimed them? Besides i was close to 9k marks so I wouldn't have had any incentive to push myself over the capacity

    With that said, regardless it still somehow shows that they were claimed on the event page.

    Anyway i requested them to have a supervisor look into it , so hoping I get better luck than the original response

    This is getting a bit ridiculous lol. If its public information that we should be able to claim even after expiry,then it shouldn't be this difficult for them to check or confirm it from their end.

    @Pikolu can you link to where DLL said it?

    @SummonerNR @DNA3000 @Cat_Murdock are either of you on the discord? I doubt any forum mod has said anything about it here on forums but i figured a staff might have commented about it on the discord server

    Sorry, no, not on Discord. Others may be in the direct Mods/Guardians chat channel for more direct raising of issues with them.
    But it is NOT a global issue affecting everyone (again, except for when changing alliances, which is different), so they would have to go take a look directly at your account and see what's what.

    I don’t know why yours seems to be messed up.

    But as to what Pikolu said that DLL said (that Support can’t acknowledge)… “ DLL already has publically stated that you can claim them even if they expire in your stash.”

    Whether or not that was indeed said, it *has* been shown as true by both Graves earlier, and I also had some unclaimed Milestones myself that have since expired from Stash, that are still claimable by me in the actual Event Milestones (like Graves showed). And not just a matter of a day, they are still available in Milestones many days after they went away from my Stash,
    So I know that to be the case (whether DLL said it too or not).

    Again, not sure why yours is not working like this. (you could try it with some other “less important” 30 day event milestone. Maybe it is just an issue with Jack's BG Blitz for you, and maybe one of your other long Events might work the way it is supposed to work ?)

    I don’t believe I have seen any developers comment on it in the Discord.

    My milestones are currently working in the way other people have mentioned. I have two Battlegrounds Blitz milestones that have expired from the stash, but are still claimable from the event itself. Unfortunately I don’t know what’s going on with yours
