Maestro’s energy penetration passive has been nonfunctional for at least 2 months

Made a post about this 2 months ago in the bugs section to be met with basically no acknowledgement and the issue has not been resolved, so I guess I gotta post this in general and hope it gets more traction here.
Maestro’s energy penetration passive literally does nothing currently. It has no effect. The effect’s description states that it causes his attacks to ignore 50% of the opponent’s energy resistance, but his damage is identical whether he has it active or not.
Two screenshots I took in practice mode today against magma form Abs man, who has a ton of energy resistance. One with the energy penetration passive, one without. This should be a great use case for the passive to bypass some of Abs man’s monstrous energy resistance and deal better damage, and yet both the hit damage of the beam and the energy burst damage are identical. No change. I’m not sure exactly how the mechanic works based on the description and what the difference should be in actuality, but I’m certain the difference shouldn’t be zero.

Just tested myself vs nefaria and abs and the ignore energy resist by 50% but he does 3500 on nefaria meaning for abs it was 1200
Once again, the damage is identical. Red Skull also has the same amount of armor up buffs in each fight, so the energy resist is the same between them. Still seems bugged to me.
Thanks for the report on this, we're looking into it now.
This was a quick response
Also you should change your name mike it's too tough to tag you 🤣🤣

Or this was an old one?🤔
It's ok to put monthly bug fixes in patch notes, like black widow relic fix or galan incenerate bug fix. It's okay.
I'm specifically talking about immediate bug fix. There is no point in putting the secutor tag bug fix which affected bgs, in December patch notes, since the season would've ended by then. A simple forum announcement helps in such immediate bug fixes. And that's how they typically handled these kind of bugs (Remember the raids fix where they gave an announcement immediately after the fix).
There were many threads on the Juggs bug with no acknowledgement that I saw and no announcement of a fix. That was disappointing because comms have been better lately.
Also, OP - awesome job noticing, testing, and documenting this one.
Your gameplay experience must be hurtful
We have so many ideas for it, but many meetings go into making those ideas a reality and involve a bunch of different people.
The goal with the (new) Trello board is to be a one-stop shop for all info regarding bugs/issues and whether or not they're fixed. Naturally, a proper system will take some time to iron out the kinks... and we want that system to be GOOD.
The Juggernaut issue, for example, got fixed live, and that one flew past me and didn't make it on the board.
(slowly drags Juggernaut back into my deck)
(...slowly removes him after reading the Gladiator Circuit nodes...)
I've already jotted down in my notes that we need a "fixed live" section, for exactly those issues.
Once the dust is brushed off the board, we're looking to keep it updated weekly, and for all the information regarding Champion issues to remain up to date and accurate. That being said, we are human, and mistakes will be made... but trust me, we want you all to be as informed as possible at all times.
