Imagine the pain a new player would feel after working their tail off for their first 7 star....and it's kamala khan
As early as accounts are getting 7* nowadays, it'll probably still be a significant improvement to their roster.
My uncollected account has a 7* Antman, a 6*R3 BWCV, and a 5*R5 CGR. Guess which one I use most for clearing content. The stars do make a difference, but not a big enough difference; 5* CGR FTW. Also a 6* might be more useful to a new account since they can gain progression tiers by ranking them up if they don't feel like doing act content. My point is that having more stars doesn't mean it's more useful.
