MCOC has long since progressed past the point where having one specific champ is a requirement for clearing content. Herc isn’t necessary to clear anything, nor is any other god tier, and even the nastiest roadblocks in different stages of the game like 6.2.2 Sinister or Necropolis can be done ftp with multiple different options. The only place this accusation begins to hold water in is the highest placements of bgs and war, and that’s unfortunately kinda necessary by definition; spending has to give an advantage to be worth it, and in the battle for number one every advantage matters. Even then, the big advantage of spending isn’t spenders getting some new 7* champs, it’s having the massive pool of resources to have every meta champ maxed out. That’s inherent to this sort of game though, and for the 99% of players who don’t care to be at the absolute top spending is not a requirement to get far.
10 years player with 9 r3 and most of the new 7* (was so lucky with the lasts titans) and FTP. If you see how are other mobile games without advertisements you wil se what is PTW. I am able to get somo decent tiers in BGs and Wars witohut spending, logically im not in 4Loki or CHAOS.
And others have said, now is less PTW than ever with the lot of gifts and the possible discount on Dazzler
In gerenal im happy with the balance that kabam has made between FTP and spenders, especially becouse spenders keep the game alive and you have to offer them an incentive to buy items. If you can get something for free in 3 days, why spend for it now? As FTP you have to understand this thing..
But in all honesty, Kabam has to sell champs to earn money and it's not like Beta Ray bill was anything ground breaking, He's now in Titan, open and you'll get him. Also nefa is there.
Spiral dazzler will hopefully be in December Banquet Titan reset pool, so better start saving.
agreed..I barely have touched Beta/Morbius since I got them. I am excited for Dazzler though
Not really that deep. Also the cost of these champs like jack and the count is a ridiculous amount. At that point it’s more then pay to win, but more like vip treatment for a kabam investor. I can’t imagine spending 500 on a champ that people will get a few months later.

Correct me if i am wrong isn't Titan cycle gonna be Scream Jack Spiral Rintrah and 2 others now. They moved Dazzler (a mutant) and replaced her with Rintrah (mystic) while there is already a mystic (Spiral) in the cycle, we still don't know the other 2 champs.

The moving of Dazzler to March is a bit of a red herring, I feel. The whole purpose of her being moved was to replace Isophyne's spot in the Titan. The whole "having a freely given 7* as a Titan champ devalues the crystal" explanation made me think it ACTUALLY meant "Isophyne's going to realllllllly want that awakening and sig stones to be meta-relevant, so you better pony up for these cyber/banquet offers." Wouldn't be surprised if she's also a banger, and they can't have players running amuck with a freshly awakened 7* that was just given to them for free.

Problem is people have this weird concept of P2W (which I always had a problem with)... You could spend 20 bucks on CM cause you really want it.. and its like you lose your sacred F2P status and become part of a problem. There is a HUGE difference from a spender to a whale, and chances of the F2P sacred cape wearing people to actually compete against a whale are so low...
the game should favor spenders otherwise where's the incentive? As well, the game cannot survive without spenders....you should be thanking them. If you are F2P you will just need to be more patient when it comes to new champs.
