I can already sense the BGs brainrot in this video

BGs is the only mode that matters because it's the only mode that requires specific champs.

The upcoming necro objectives literally give you a t7 basic and awakening gem. Bg store gives what again?

To be fair those, it is all about how each player play this game.

While for I'm not good enough to take BG seriously, so these a champs that I don't bother with.

But for the like of KT1, Andrew, Bero, Trapy, BG is the only mode that they really concentrate on, so for them "slow" champs is not interesting.

In KT1 video he didn't say the Sentry was bad, just that he might not be useful in a lot of places. In a way like a Science version of Aegon.

I love Aegon and so thanksful I got him and ranked him up for Necropolis, but I have use him since even though I always want to find a way or reason to use him.

I think KT1 have his point. For me I don't have a Sentry higher than a 5* and are hoping that I get a higher rarity soon, and will rank him if he is essential for Necropolis, but that is just me, each to their own. Live and let live 😊

exactly, people getting all angry he giving his point of view in his video channel

You would expect educated points of views or criticism, complaining based on a deep dive... Creates a bunch of confusion for some people.
Check how many post are out there by people asking if they should save mats to r3 champs that they don't even have yet....

I think the problem most of us have is the clickbait thumbnail. He's got an avatar of him with steam coming his ears and he's red like he's angry.

The title of the video is "DOA"... Dead on arrival. So which is it? It's a good buff and had his uses or the buff is dead and he's angry at Kabam?

I think it’s a valid general critique that Everest champion design without other redeemable attributes is too narrow of a design lane for most champions and that there is a thing as having too many of these champions in the game.

Sentry was already in this lane though so I’m not surprised his buff focused on improving this. But you don’t have to look much further than Void to see the accuracy in some of the points KT raises as Void is usable in Everest content but has mechanics that are applicable in many other places. I think his example of Serpent being a strong defender with a ramp up mechanic is a great call out too. I actually really like this concept for Everest champs. It gives them a purpose outside of narrow content.

Sentry will have a couple more narrow uses and I’ll reserve my full judgement on Sentry until after the update and I get to fool around a bit with his new kit. And who knows, with the healthpools in 9.2 maybe Kabam will break a bit more outside if the 6 fights per a quest box they’ve restricted themselves too giving Sentry and Aegon more purpose on the game.

But I would rather have someone point out this design flaw rather than quietly just applaud it when they disagree.

This is a very fair criticism. I get frustrated with this approach on positive and negatives from creators.

It’s like showing off an attacker in their best possible matchups and promoting it as if the design is flawless and “new god” in the thumbnail.

Which is what every player should learn to do, and I think that's what Emilia meant by "Fanboys", you got people repeating everything as if it was an ultimate fact. People are going nuts about champs they haven't even played after rework or champs they don't even have.

It’s a fair concern, but one that has much more to do with the CCP hype train than independent YT guys.

Look its quite easy, this is a Sentry rework, a champ that a lot of people already have. Test it and evaluate if its your cup of tea... If its not there are 200+ other champs out there..
So what if 1 champ rework is made for long content? What is so wrong with that?

Nothing at all, IMO. I just don’t think anyone should be surprised if there’s little excitement for it. Totally agree that it’s best to wait and try him out.

What these people need to understand is BGs is not the only game mode, there are other very enjoyable modes as well. Sentry will be good in most areas, even potentially war as he is tactic. He'll also be useful in Act 9.2 and onwards due to large healthpools.

I don't care about Sentry's BG tier, but my one misgiving about him in questing content is how he can lose Reality Warp charges. I shudder at ramping him up to 10, then dying to Nameless Grandmaster 10 times in a row without being able to gain a single Warp.

G2099 is a close approximation of this feeling, but at least she only needs one fight previously to end with an SP3, as opposed to needing to win fights and convert solar energy to ramp up. Arcade as well has the problem where if you lose the fight you kind of lose more than just that single fight.

There’s no reason to call out someone’s opinion as “brainrot” unless you have some personal grudge.

I happen to like KT1’s videos and will continue watching them despite your attempts at trying to trash him.

Be better. If you don’t like or agree then don’t watch and leave a dislike if it makes you feel better.

You posted this here and on reddit. Looks/seems like a vendetta against him rather than any kind of constructive criticism to his opinions.

Sure but why bring this over here? This seems like the kind of thing you would debate within the comment section of that video…

To show what a good anti-KT1 person they are for points.
Anti-kt1 person is like me, one who actually unsubbed long ago and who actually doesn't care about the opinions on the channel.
Stopped watching without being negetive and toxic. We all have reasons to not follow someone, I have mine.
It's his channel, he have opinions, who doesn't? So what? Talk to him directly in his stream or the comment section.

Let's assume I say that, I do not care about a single mode outside BGs. I play only for BGs and nothing else.
Tell me who is wrong? Me only caring about bgs, or you enjoying other modes? Who decides who is correct?

There were zero reasons to link the video
Should have made a post with your opinions instead.

It's his channel , he plays & streams mostly BGs - so he post his opinion on his channel.

& Story mode most people just boost up cruise through - sentry not needed in 9.2 beta

I'm guessing that zero BG camps will be in the objectives, lol. And, most aren't gonna r3 one-off champs for a challenge.
