Maybe I've interpreted it wrong, but it was a conversation about me opening about 60 feature crystals and not pulling a kitty pride I think, and the response was that.. certain items (in this case champs) were kept to keep a balance, so basically kept rare for you, in order for you to maintain a target (or tinfoil hat says, keep buying) And it also says, many factors affect the outcome, to me that says the drop rates aren't consistent player to player..??? However, I can't complain this year, Im happy with acquisition of champs atm
That’s a stock answer, and you're reading more into it than is there. In fact, this is the stock answer I would give to most people asking about RNG lootboxes in any game, including games I’ve never played before. Game designers factor in a lot of different things when designing random lootbox rewards, and specifically the drop rates for them, and the reason why they are random in the first place and have the random distributions they do in the second place is for a number of standard reasons, some of which they have mentioned.
They even explicitly state “our drop rates are never specific to individuals.” I’m not sure how you can interpret “many factors go into the drop rates” as implying they are different from player to player, but “drop rates are never specific to individuals” as not disclaiming that interpretation.
To be more precise, they never said many factors affect the outcome. They said many factors affect the drop rates. In other words the thing that the designers designed for the crystals: the designed drop odds. But the only factor that determines the drop you actually get is the random number generator.
Well that is a better and more clear answer that I appreciate you giving me, and yes I read into it more than I probably should have, I read one section, then the 2nd section and felt they contracted themselves by saying factors influence the outcome, to me that's not fully random. But like I said above, I feel champion crystals fair and and champion acquisition is at a decent level in the game now, so can't complain.. I shared that to hope gain some clarity on drop rates, I'm not a conspiracy theorist on these crystals, they're not rigged etc it's just these SBCs are ridiculously bad for valiants and that wasn't made clear on their live streams..
All these threads about drop rates being "different for different people" and such are starting to remind me of the "online poker is rigged" people I see at the tables all the time.
It's always the people who didn't pull anything great that start these typed of posts. Just like it's the guys who have only played 5k hands playing online poker and haven't played enough for the variance to even out that whine about it being rigged.
I don't think anything is rigged, or fixed for anyone, I don't believe in content creator luck or anything, I've stated in support for kabam in these instances, my post is in relation to how this event and these crystals were beyond hyped and really miss sold to valiants players..
Every single SBC I open, it's 5.2k t6cc.. like 10 more I've opened and it's all the same bs... We got flat out lied to
They never actually lied… but the clearly intentionally mislead using half truths and hidden pull rates… yes.
Hidden pull rates? What? The drop rates aren't hidden. And we never know the drop rates before the event starts.
Please let us know the chance to get 10% of a T6cc or 1.5k 7star shards instead of higher amounts. Because if the pool included other quantities then they are not disclosing the chances of getting those specific amounts and there’s a very large body of public evidence that those amounts are weighted more heavily than others.
It's the same chance for each of those quantities......that infographic just lumps them into one image to save space on the graphic.
Aren't you supposed to be the smart one or something? How is that not obvious to you?
The better question is, how are you allowed to be so consistently insulting and disrespectful to everyone on the forums who disagrees with you?

A long long time ago a player posted that he got three 4* champs out of ten PHC crystals and then none after the next fifty. His conclusion: the devs deliberately rigged his crystals to not get any more 4* champs because they didn’t like the fact he got too many earlier.
Good luck is always chance, and bad luck is always rigged.

I'm just as insulting as the rest of you. I don't cross any lines just like you.

There is a balance, bur it's not across you opening the 60 crystals but across everyone opening crystals. Which means you might get the champ you want or just never see them because others have pulled them

Somehow I always knew this is how the crystals work cuz think about, they don't want everyone to have every champ cuz champ chasing and collecting is basically what this game is about (the OG NFTs lol) so it'll make sense that they're able to track the percentage of Summoners who have a certain champs and depending on how old, new, rare, etc. Depends how high the percentage of Summoners who are allowed to have that champs, so even tho you do have a chance to grab any champ from a regular basic pool or featured, some champs will have a higher percentage than others within that crystal. Which is why I like opening any featured crystals i stack day one since most Summoners don't have the newer champs thus giving them a slightly better chance in the begging compared to their chances later that week when more Summoners have them.

it's not immediately obvious, and it is not like the old monthly character crystals where it is 2 options and it is heavily skewed towards getting the lower star that you know you would get that most of the time.
also a sneaky thing especially with the featured crystals is there is no drop rates on getting the featured champions in the crystals, all you are guaranteed is getting a champion of that star. and anything to do with the drops of the champions in it are up to kabam
