    You need lots more options. I usually ban the highest ranked champs they have which are not in my deck.

    All of their nukes get banned 😂 If I see CGR and Hulkling, instaban!! Dr Doom gets it too only because I hate that his aura can delay fights.

    I don't worry too much about defenders.

    The only defender i look for in their deck.

    Then I look for R3s thats not in my deck, that might be a problem in defense or to nuke in attack.

    But I don’t play seriously, the GC +1 match is all I do, and I chill with it…3 fights every 48 hours/ 1 promotion is my average pace. In the GC at the end of week 2.

    My strategy is to assume my opponents are carried by “cheat attackers” who can trivialize most fights, and I have a better encyclopedic knowledge of champ kits and counterplay in unoptimal situations. In other words, If I ban their good attackers and we’re both left without strong counters to fights, I’ll do better. If the opponent wins, fair play, I deserve the L. If they couldn’t keep up without their Hulkling making Fantman extremely simple to fight, that’s on them. It helps that I don’t like and therefore don’t run a lot of meta bg nukes, so it’s not like I’m losing out on anything when I ban the opponent’s CGR or Spider-ham.

    Depends on their deck. There are champions that I really don't want to fight under certain circumstances, so those are priority. Everything else depends on the deck. Since I mostly just play VT, I'm not too concerned about new valiants placing r3 serpent on defense when everyone else they have is 6r4-7r2 (I also have like 7 serpent counters in my deck so really not worried about him in general)

    Not exclusively attackers but I think more attackers than defenders overall. If there’s an r3 of a scary defender that isn’t in my deck like attuma or kindred then they’ll probably get banned, but otherwise I ban the nukes like juggs

    Those fast attackers, I also have them in my deck, so why ban them? If someone uses theirs better than me, fair play, it's their round/win. And a chance for me to see whats possible and learn to play that champ better.
    But an annoying defender? You bet I'm banning him/her. Enchantress is no.1 on that list. And certain metas make some champs overpowered defenders. Like Nefaria in this meta.
    I'm not losing because of a stupid defender, bad AI or crazy node/champ interaction. So, I'm banning defenders and relying on my skills to outspeed my opponent. Also, a fast attacker cant nuke every champ. Just try to draft around your opponent nukes.

    Mostly just defenders I haven't studied yet, and I don't add such defenders to my deck until I am comfortable with not banning them.

    Serpent and Enchantress are instabans, and then I look for other pretty annoying defenders like Photon and Bullseye and ban those.

    I've never thought about this point, actually. If champ is not scary attacker or defender, why should we ban him. It wouldn't help in fight!?
