They’ve added 5 (which was announced years ago) and the team that does relics isn’t even the same team that does this…
Seems like you’re just trying to be contrarian. You could just ignore them if you don’t care for them. The chase was completely f2p and non gacha reliant which a lot of us like. If you don’t care for them, ok, you’re not missing out on anything then? Like just move on lmao

They specifically said"dont feel like you have to complete all content". The obvious "extra" to me was the deathless stuff. Kabam now "yeah you have to complete every bit of content or you miss out on one of the top new champs in the game". But don't worry you can get them in the store for just 25,000 units each And if you didn't get every deathless champion you don't get a dupe for Maestro.
They stated from the start that Thanos would be a meta champ. They also stated you would need all 4 other deathless champs to get him.
I agree with the OP. Not really thrilled by the deathless champs. I'd rather use my time and resources on other areas of the game than the chase for champs I won't use much. If I get bored maybe but nah. I'd rather Kabam focus on buffing champs that need it honestly. One deathless champ a year to chase perhaps.. They should fix all the bugs first before adding champs and sagas to get them IMO.
Why do people have this mentality of mcoc being done by like 5 people. They have artists, programmers, testers, Designers, and a slew of other disciplines all working on various aspects of the same game. Some things got mixed up either in translation or deployment of this update they are addressing them with a fix. No software is perfect and stuff happens. But to blame the stuff happening because the devs created multiple chase champions across a year of content is ludicrous at best as a take.
The bugs are secondary honestly.. And btw, these deathless champs are not ground breaking by any means. That's why they aren't worth MY time.. If YOU like em, have at it.. And if you don't like my take, just disagree and keep it pushin.. Could care less how it makes you feel..
She hulk is legit one of the best science champs for bigger health pools
The amount of time and attention to detail , tracking where each piece is going to be available, over the course of one year turned me off to the who concept. I got the first deathless champ and then couldn’t be bothered.
I hear that,..got deathless Guilly and the dupe and then bounced lol. The whole push by Kabam to try to make everyone jump into there lacklustre game modes was a turn off,..it’s bad enough i feel i have to do AQ for T4 alpha frags. The price tag on each piece is a bit insulting as well,..5k a pop,…pffff,..no thanks.
The price was literally just an incentive to get them the way it was intended to get them.
Am I the only one who is just uninterested in obtaining any of the deathless champs? As a Valiant player, I have several pieces of Vision, King Groot, She Hulk and Guilly, but I don't like any of the deathless characters or their gameplay enough to spend the time and resources it requires to complete the set and unlock the champs.

I'm a casual player/spender and don't want to spend the time or money it costs to get all them. But if I was skilled enough I would have tried for them
I don’t have any issue with not liking the deathless chase. I personally have enjoyed it as a challenge to accomplish, but the champs so far are mostly mid so it is only worth it if you enjoy it. The posts I take issue with are those who didn’t do the content but complain about the catch up cost.

Well, I can't say I feel the same. I did switch focus onto the 6*s so I can minimize the stress of collecting them, but I've put a year's worth of effort into owning them, so I'm happy.
This my opinion - if you don't care about the deathless champs, no worry, i will not mock you - but if someone had all of the deathless champs, you no need to mock them, they had to work hard to get em, because some of them are hard to obtain - And sincerly, you no need to post about you don't care about 'em - Some of the deathless are good champs, so does others champs, there are hundred of champs there good as long as you know how to use 'em - To whoever have all deathless champs including deathless thanos, kudos to you, all your hardwork is not in vain - just don't be toxic and hateful to each others, we are just ordinary people, keep the good enviroments

Personally, I've enjoyed the chase for those, but I get that some people aren't into it. Regardless of what anyone else says, its perfectly fine to not be interested in them, just like there are those that have no interest in Alliance war or Battlegrounds. It is entirely optional end game content
Just remember that everyone has different preferences, so for every person like you that wishes they spent the development time elsewhere, there are players that wish they never spent the time on the things you like in the first place. While we all want the devs to focus on the things we personally like, we should all at least acknowledge that we should all actually *want* the devs to spend some time focusing on the things we don't like, because that means those things attract a more diverse and more healthy playerbase. We should all want to see our peers get the things they want sometimes, even if they are not the things we personally want.
Some of the pieces were hard to get but expecting thanos would be really good I chased all deathless champs and their dupes for minimal "cost", I certainly didnt spend any money for them.
At their worst, its 4x more 7* champs for arena and no champs missing.
I respect anyone who chose not to see any benefit to the chase since no one was forced to do it.
The beautiful thing about this game is there is almost always something you can do without needing to do all of it.
I only want Deathless Guillotine because I think she looks cool, so I understand not being interested in getting all of them if you're not interested in playing them like I am

But, any addition to the game is good, it’s given people something to work towards and who wouldn’t want a thanos that stands out.
Now that they’re done with it, it opens up opportunities to rebalance classic champions and throw in additional relics.
New champs what the whales strive to get cus they have all the rest ….and being well paying customers that keep the game alive they’ll get what they want.
It was completely free to obtain all these champs. And took such little effort besides maybe you could make an argument for completing Necro.
Anyone complaining about deathless champs is anti-fun. What’s not to love about this whole deathless phase we’ve gone through?

I personally never spent any cash chasing the champs. I didn't even spend any units chasing the champs. I just spent time, and resources that would have expired anyway, and there's no such thing as a worthwhile chase that doesn't take time.
I'm sure there were people who spent, but I'm not the greatest player in the world and I didn't spend, which means as end game content goes it wasn't in any way paywalled for the target audience.
