Literally just 1: start with weaker Champs until your multiplier is maxed (minor, but it helps short term), and 2: pop on a podcast, TV show, etc, and settle in. It's slow as ****, but once you get into a rhythm, you gain points faster than you'd think.

Owies aren't necessary, but they help too.

    I do 4* arenas till 150k
    5* till 250k
    6 and 7 till 350/600/1000 or 2000 to get a new champ 3 stars

    About 100 units i get.

    Assuming you know the basics...

    - Hit all milestones in all arenas as a bare minimum (including the Unit / Battlechip milestones in the Catalyst arenas)
    - Watch / Listen to something whilst grinding

The biggest tip is have a goal, and track it. If you have an interest in data, and some basic Excel knowledge - this is relatively easy to do.

My personal goal is 36k units by 04/07 deals. I have a tracker, and a forecast.

I started 2025 with 657 units on 06/01. To date, I have 4,154 units - and that's with spending about 3,000 combined on the 10 unit T6B/T3A and the 1,000 unit T6CC deals.

Right now, my forecast estimates I'll have 49,688 units by 04/07. So I could afford to slow down quite significantly. Likewise, if my forecast was below the goal I'd know to pick up the pace.

So it really depends what your goal is, and how much effort you want to apply both in and out of game.

Later today, ill be opening my 3rd round of 500k battlechips for 2025.

Featured Arena. 7* r1 until fight 9. Then max champs until all used - arena complete.

    Switch to Summoners Trials.

4* r1 until fight 9. Then max champs until all used. Keep going until you’re bored (many many milestones)

    Switch to basic arena.

Remainder of 7* r1 until fight till fight 9. Then switch to max champs (if you have any left, if not wait for refresh)

    Switch to catalyst arena.

Use max 5* to clear your way to unit milestone. Takes 10 minutes.

Pop boosts throughout to make it quicker.

Switch to recoils through to make it quicker (not required)

Buy sigil to make it quicker (not required)

    • use 6* R1 till 5X and after that use your top champs
    • Do something that keep you away from boredom, like talking on call with friends, watch Movie or YT, etc

So I want to have neary 50,000 units by Spring Cleaning too. Gotta hit the reset button and get back on it today.

In One month, i can get 750k battlechips and +/- 3500 units.

    1.25M in summoners trial
    12M in featured arena
    4M in basic

But is really hard to grind without sigil, arena express is really useful.

Play for 90 mins for day

On this topic, what kind of win streak would I be looking at to reach milestone 20 in the Summoner Trials?

Smashing out the basic and featured arena’s milestones doesn’t take too long, but the Summoner Trials seems like a bit of a slog with 4* champs (and 4* boosts not readily available.)

Way too long and grindy. I personally just target 1.5-2m consistently so as to avoid burn out.

    Stick to grinding milestones.
Do it while you are watching tv. Put on a comedy or something so you can still listen if you need to do a more focused fight.
When you’ve done all the milestones, chill.

Oh and find a rhythm and groove that suits you. If you go too hard, you’ll just burn out.

Try and work out how you can fit arena into your schedule without it feeling too intrusive or feeling like another chore that needs doing. If you do that, you’ll be able to grind for a lot longer, and prevent burnout.

I finished both the featured and basic tonight.

I do half hour chunks and time it with the 15% attack boost.

Only 7*s for me, start at rank 1 and work up in featured on night 1.

Then basic on night 2 doing the same and finish the features using my 6r5a with arena boosts if my 7*s are spent.

Sometimes I hit the trials on night 3 or have a break if I cba.

Works out about 90 mins a day. Castlevania was the pick of choice for tv tonight.

Also between sets at the gym, a round works out about 90 secs so fits in well

cant remember the name, nor can i be bothered to look right now to find out - but the ones that cost 10k battlechips per crystal

first 2 batches of 500k battlechips got me ~800 per batch
the last batch got me a depressing 375

Open battle chips crystals before big events start (cyber Monday, banquet, etc).

I’m sure it’s small sample size but I usually get much less units when I open them with a big event going on.

Those are the Uncollected crystals. The basic ones cost 2k, UC cost 10k, and the TB crystals cost 50k.

Half a million BC will buy 50 of those, and statistically you’d expect 15% or about 7 or 8 crystals to drop units. But I’ve seen almost 3k units, and I’ve seen zero from a batch that size.

I wish someone could help with the motivation part 🤣. I get all pumped to use ALL my champs and get a really good session in. Then I get about 3-4 rounds in and realize I just don’t want to do it anymore 😔

There's a persistent conspiracy theory that says the exact opposite: that Kabam deliberately lowers the odds of arena crystals dropping units in the lead up to big sale events, specifically to reduce the amount of units players have at their disposal.

In my data I see no such effect. I also see no such effect during big sales weeks. I see no statistically significant variations in the data at all that are not consistent with random chance. And I open every single crystal one by one specifically to look for such effects.

I was done with both arenas about 5 hrs ago.

    Haha yep. I understand that.

For me the motivation is never struggling for gold (i have around 200m, spent 10m in two days a couple of weeks ago) and having enough units that I can blow any content away if I choose.

It's definitely a long game so even a few rounds a day makes a difference over a year.

Does your data suggest opening basics for 500k BC batches is better in terms of evening out the 0-3000 unit gap?

goals and tracking - i've always been an arena fiend, but having a goal and a system to track that this year has really upped my time in arena. The motivation being able to see and predict the benefits of time spent.

All other things being equal, the more crystals you open the closer (proportionately speaking) you will get to the statistical average outcome. One million BC is 20 TB crystals, 100 UC crystals, and 500 basic crystals. 500 crystals will always approach the average more closely.

i have less data on basic crystals, because UC crystals came out not long after I started collecting detailed data. I believe the lowest unit drop I saw was 1425 and the highest was 2190 for basic crystal batches (500 crystals, 1M BC worth) but that’s from a relatively small data sample size.

Here’s a more statistically significant observation. I’ve opened 23 batches of 100 UC crystals. The highest unit drop was 2850 and the lowest was 900. But suppose I were to look at batches of 500 crystals instead. So the first 5 batches, or batches 2 through 6, or 3 through 7, and so forth. In any sequential batch of 500 crystals, the highest total unit drop was 11775 and the lowest was 7200. The average units per 100 crystals in any of those batches thus varied between 1440 and 2355, a significantly tighter spread. Interestingly, averaging across 500 UC crystals generated a similar spread of values as my basic crystal data for 500 basic crystals (normalized to units per million BC).

My TB crystal data is even more wild, because now we’re only averaging 20 crystals worth. My high is 5250 and my low is zero. However, if I look at my first 500 TB crystals, I get 46500 units. That’s out of 25 million BC worth, which averages out to 1860 units per million BC. Which is almost dead on the statistical expected return of 1875.

Open enough crystals, and you will get closer and closer to the expected average.

Let me start by saying Arenas is one of my least favorite areas of the game. It's too boring and monotonous for me. But since I'm considering spending less money on the game, and there's very few ways to get units, I'm going to attempt it again. I've done a few runs before when I first started playing. Then again maybe 2 yrs later for a specific champ, and just to see how far I could go before my mind caved in and I crapped out.

    I didn't go very far. 😅

Since I've been out of this loop for a while, what is the best, most efficient strategy to grind for these units and BC's?

    How successful have you been?

    Thank you 🙂

Instead of spending money on the game tell your sibling that you will buy them a pizza if they grind arena for you and they will get a pizza for each 200 units they grind . Then give them your phone and put on a show
    Flawless strategy
