Am I missing something here? Kabam decided to make a monthly recurring payment subscription feature that is better to buy intermittently? Let me explain, the only way to squeeze the most juice out of this new Sigil is if you have gathered everything to trade in the Black ISO store and manage to get the items within their reset timers. For example if you are at 50k 6* shards that trade for 1 7* crystal at 150k shards is worthless unless you manage to get 100k more within the month. And that goes for every single item that has better value in trade.
If you're thinking in terms of relative to the usual purchases, it's more value than the Star Lord Loot Bag for example. Now, in terms of the 6* Featured leaving, I'm not sure why that was removed, or the Shard trade-in. That would make more sense to keep and just gate the 7* Crystals if the concern was choices. That much I'm not sure of. I think the overall idea is to have some higher-end value that Players can save towards and some smaller value on an ongoing basis. Which this certainly achieves. It's only 10 dollars USD a month, after all.
I am not thinking on unit value. I am comparing old sigil to this one. This is a monthly renewed subscription that is better to buy whenever you have the most items to trade and cancel when you don't. This is completely backwards.
I'm talking the total value. The previous Sigil didn't even have anything to appeal to Valiant besides the 7* Crystal and the usual building lower Items up.
This one doesn't have much either....
It has a Titan, an extra 7* to trade in for, and a T4A.

Yes, so it has crapshoots on a 1 month timer, except for the t4a that is the only certain item. Would have made more sense to be able to buy everything in shards form instead of full crystal.

What do you expect? Access to a Titan and another 7* every month for $10?

So you just omit the part where it says access to shards instead of full crystals? I mean you also say 1 titan and an extra 7* as if earning those was easy to buy together, its more of 1 or the other. And if you are talking about the trade you gotta have the 150k 6* shards to actually do the trade, They could have made it 10k 6* shards for 1k 7* shards.
Not sure what I think of the new Sigil right now. It feels as if I’ve gotten more value right now with my Cav account than with my Valiant account because of the T4B for T5B trade…
The fact you need to pay for things with Sigil credits will definitely make it a lot more difficult to accumulate them for bigger ticket items especially with a limit of 60 (or 75 from the webstore) a month.
Let’s forget about the trade-in part of it for now, just focusing on the sigil credit purchases, we will potentially get a lot less value than we did in the past with the old one.
War boost - 4x per month = 40 credits Regular boost - 4x per month = 40 credits Sigil potion - 4x per month = 8 credits
Just taking these three as an example, which were fairly simple to acquire before, we’re already at 88 credits. And that’s aside from the various shard trades we could do each week.
It’s almost as if they are gambling that the value of the Sigil will now be in the trade-in part of the store. There are some decent things in there but to me it’s not enough to make up what we are losing with the Sigil Credit side of the equation.
I dunno… Although I like the extra storage of the Sigil, this does not feel like an upgrade of the store to me for the same $$$. I’m probably going to cancel that subscription next month. That’s the nice thing of being able to talk with our wallets.
** Edit: Not waiting… Cancelling the subscription for now. **

This "upgrade" feels outdated already. Would have made a lot more sense last year.

Actually, if they would have not done the Sigil Credit thing for the basic items (boosts, revives, potions), the overall balance of the store would have been much better. The cost of those basic items is out of whack compared with what we had before.
It seems to me the problem is if they give more Sigil Credits, than those high ticket items will be out of balance. People will have a bigger incentive to not spend on anything else to acquire the bigger ticket items faster.
For kicks, I’ll try to use the language from Kabam Crashed here when he was talking about the banquet crystals.. re:For the Sigil part of the experience is being able to purchase things… Those revives, potions and boosts may seem like nothing… but they are knick knacks and there’s still something fun in there being able to get them in an affordable because we bought the Sigil. The value of the credits was that wait to be able to afford that bigger thing… Right now, the choice that this system is imposing on us takes away from that “quick win” experience where we see some sort of value out of our purchase.
Well I have subscribed since day 1 with never a gap. I only subscribed again today so I could spend my 700 sigil credits and then that will be it for me. Maybe someone will wake up when they see people jumping ship but just the fact that my sigil credit won’t even cover the things I am used to getting each week (Boosts and pots) chases me away. I will miss the extra inventory slots but oh well…..
So where's the discount for paying automatically every month? I wish i was kidding but overall this makes this less of a deal than previously. at least for me. I used to be able to stretch a single month to just under 5 weeks which obviously cannot be done anymore.
Kabam is really trying to make it hard to want to spend money on this game.
in case anyone is wondering no i wasn't cheating. i just let my month expire and wouldn't renew until the following Monday....i figure i saved over time at least one or two subs

They closed a loophole, there is no discount for recurring payments. What you are asking is a bit ridiculous.
Putting primordial dust into Sigil is a step in the right direction, I’m glad they listened to me.
The 1 piece per month limit on a lot of these items however, is crazy.
If I want to buy 10 4 star crystals and 100 Tier 1 primordial dust, I should be able to do it without a purchase limit, providing I have enough credits.
Get this portion control tf outta here, and ffs let’s do a 180 from this charging Sigil credits for boosts and health items.
Nobody who plays this game wants to share currency between health items and champion acquisition materials.
Maybe they should bring back the 2 different sigil credits? So endgame players can save for champion options and still be able to aquire lower items such as revives or dust? Or is maybe double the monthly credits would not be too game breaking??

Having Shards and a one-stop trade-off is counterintuitive to promoting a subscription. Of course people can cancel at any time, but I suspect they want to encourage people to maintain a subscription over time with the biggest Rewards being cumulative, rather than a few Shards here and there.
Thanks to the super daily event you get a ton of solo crystal shards and can get 10-20 of each boost weekly not the strongest version but all are nice to have
No more test of valiant either? How the hell we suppose to earn credits? 🤦
It's forcing people to spend money to get the credits from the store vs being able to play for them through objectives, definitely not a good idea at all

And yes, I was joking about the kabam listening to me part, haha. They don't listen to anyone.
I said it another thread but they took away useful things majority used or found value in, and made them worse and removed things all together like the 5-star Sig Crystal trade in for 6-star Sig Crystals along with Smaller Potions for Sigil potions.
For being down for 2 weeks (AKA MISSING) this feels mediocre at best as a Valiant player.

So you're mad that Kabam us "forcing" you to lay down money for credits vs not "forcing" you to lay down money to get objectives to get the credits previously?
Do you see how completely non-sensical your statement is?

The 20% boost does not appear in the Solo crystals often. Hence why being able to get them for a cheap amount of gold from the Sigil was a good thing.

Allow me to rephrase it this way while some things in the update are a W. Some things do feel like a L. I think losing out on 20%boost for Gold and the HP potions trade in is a L. Just like with the GoldPool daily going from once a week to Daily is good but I wish they had kept the amount at 150k instead of 100K and it also didn't cost energy to run the quest. Not saying everything about it is bad, just think some of the choices were a miss.

Yeah, that's not rephrased, that's completely changed.
so, in summary, things to return to the store to make people want it again: -6 star featured crystal -lower shard for higher shard trade in -boosts for gold instead of credits -raise or remove the purchase limit for most items -HP potion trade in for higher potions

More sigil tokens/ 2 separate types. Used to get 105 and now I only get 75. It needs to be doubled in my opinion. 150 for web store and 120 for ingame,.. if we are not going to have 2 separate credit types that is
