Victory track is a little more than a skill issue.

The past 6 or so seasons I’ve made it into gladiators circuit within 2 weeks with little to no effort. So you can imagine my surprise when bgs is almost over and I am still in vibranium. Now I’m not MSD but I’m certainly good at this game especially when it comes to battlegrounds. I just poured 2 hours and 30 minutes into playing battlegrounds and I started playing today in vibranium 3, you know where I am at the end of that 2 hours and 30 minutes. STILL IN VIBRANIUM 3. And it’s not like I’m 1 game away, I have 1 MEDAL. There seriously is something wrong with the way the AI works in this game, but even more so the META that Kabam chose for this season. I was up against a kindred and I was using onslaught, I did a heavy attack and he blocked it. (He didnt have a resist buff) he just blocked both hits somehow. ALSO, why is it only SCIENCE and deathless champions that we can use. There are 300 CHAMPS in the game and this meta has shrunk the useful ones down to a handful. Most players are struggling to rank up because instead of battlegrounds being a test of skill and strategic thinking, it’s just become a test of RNG and just praying you get the 6 champs in your deck that work well with the node. The meta just isn’t fair for anyone even those with MASSIVE decks. Y’all gotta give some sort of compensation for this miserable excuse of a bgs season. 0 fun whatsoever.

    Skill issue

Do you understand the term ‘skill issue’. It would only be a ‘skill issue’ if there were no external sources impacting gameplay. Since THERE IS for example the extremely rng based meta it’s a little more than just a skill issue isn’t it. Even if it was a skill issue, I’m still 1000% certain that anyone after playing for almost 3 hours would rank up, but between the horrible meta and horrible AI it’s made bgs almost insufferable. Anyone who disagrees simply doesn’t play it enough

Yeah I mean this meta was rough, if you just place non tactic defenders your opponent is pretty cooked for most fights cause decay doesn’t work. As someone who didn’t have loads of incinerate/poison immune champs going into the meta (and isn’t a whale who can just R2/3 multiple champions just for 1 BG meta) i kinda decided it was a bust from the off. Kinda sucks but I’m sure we’ll be back with the next one soon enough.

Do you understand when you say “I’m certainly good at this game especially when it comes to battlegrounds”?
Well rank up more meta champs or something cause it doesn't matter how good you are you will burn or get poisoned to death.
And why does it matter if they are "science"?...

I don't even like BG these days, scuffed rewards
But I'm reluctantly playing for BG shop tokens from objectives every 2 days and now I'm already in uru and chilling.

    So yes it's skill issue.

It has never been just about skills. Roster, strategy(also a part of skill) and good rng play significant role in determining the winner. It sucks when your opponent gets to pick everything they need while you don't. But that is also an aspect of the game that you have to play around. If you can't then take the L and hope you can do better in the next matches. I always study the matches that I lose to try and understand where I went wrong, what factors were in play that cost me the match and whether those factors were in my control.

It happens easily. Idk what you aren’t seeing about that being a bad matchup, Skull is nullify immune.

Its obvious herc was immortal it shows he has no health cause his health doesnt register a percentage when he is immortal

He scored more points?... Not sure how that is difficult to understand.
If you are talking about the 0.0% he could have had 1 hp left after immortality and it would show as a 0.0% but not KO
I'm surprised you had to explain it. I was wondering what's the issue in the image.
    It's skill issue + ignorance

    I don’t see how this isn’t a skill issue.

Everyone that plays BGs is dealing with the same variables at roughly the same scale.

I think your problem is that you played too long and got frustrated which made you play rashly.

I literally only do the every other day objectives and made it to GC.

Are you actually swapping out your deck to match the meta? It’s not always your standard 30 champs that are best, I leave R3s out of my deck for champs that meet the meta.

Thought I’d show this, neither of the attackers here are inc/poison immune. Keep in mind I had a sig 200 r5 ascended defender in Serpent.

You have to believe you can do it!

(ps don’t judge the stat focus’s I haven’t had time to changing em)

To everyone saying i need a larger roster THANK YOU for proving my point. I have 8 rank 3s and over 15 r2s along with 18 r5 ascended champions, BUT even though the decay tactic does include a couple champions it’s nearly IMPOSSIBLE for a ftp player to have all of them. I’ve got about 6 decay champs on my deck and 5 other champs that work with the nodes due to immunities. BUT this proves my point that it’s more than just a skill issue because I have to rank up champs I wouldn’t have taken up otherwise. It’s always been a battle of rosters but this meta is kinda taking that too far.
