IS EPOCH / ARES QUEST SUPPOSED TO BE FUN?!

This quest is a big ol’ revive dump for 90% of players who don’t have endless units and revives… endgame or not. Why would Kabam make Ares main challenge be to dex, parry, light attack or swipe up on each hit of his special attacks when the game has the worst lagging, freezing & input issues that it’s ever had?… This, along with his special attacks alternating randomly between special 1 and special 2, no matter if he has 1 or 2 bars of power, and the fact that they alternate in speed aswell… this makes it damn near impossible to ‘learn’ or even get used to because even if you play decently… the screen will freeze or lag, and it will cut to you being combo’d and hit because you can’t time your actions with these bugs completely throwing off the timing, or just preventing the game from registering your actions / input at all.

The entire quest is challenging enough paired with these bugs… but the final phase of the Ares fight is the longest and clearest revive dump yet… when you revive dump his down to 1% HP, you have to intercept him like 50 times with TERRIBLE AI to finally defeat him. Somehow this is the safer option because trying to dodge Ares’ random special attacks whilst lagging is impossible. Nobody but spenders or people who spend hours everyday in arena can revive dump through this reliably…

Yet another piece of content that feels like a chore and lacks any possible enjoyment or satisfaction for anyone who want a challenging, but fair quest for some nice rewards. When will Kabam learn that it isn’t fun for players to waste time out of their lives, waiting and grinding for 50-100 revives for each path of an unenjoyable price of content… I don’t even understand why whales spend so much on a game that disregards gameplay bugs to this extent. I don’t remember the last time a legit fun piece of content was made. All content is just for whales, and MSD level sweats now 💀 super tired of this.

    Seems you just need to keep working at it. The vast majority of comments I've seen from those that explored it or are working on it have used significantly less revives after the initial run. So how exactly is that a revive dump? Ok fine, you use 20 or so for initial completion then maybe 20 total for the next 5 runs? That's not a revive dump and actually tells you the fight is learnable. Sounds like a skill issue. In this case, git gud.

    Ahh good point, so you are like their savior, their messiah?..
    This is Everest Content, which is a lil bit higher than end game content. F2P players have the same sources to get revives not sure what the problem is. Even if its a revive fiesta, now if its their choice to not use the units they grind because they want to wait for sales, that's their choice. Not sure what spenders and whales have anything to do on this rant.
    GM used to be called a 2K unit boss, now you see TBs willing to spend a lot more on Banquet instead of progressing. Spenders and whales got nothing to do with this. Which means being F2P has nothing to do with it.

    @Buttehrs You never fail to be the prime example of an MCOC no-life sweat. Did you not read what I said? Did you just ignore all I said about the bugs that make the content 4x harder than it’s even meant to be? You kids in forums who play the game 10 hours a day saying ‘git gud’ and ‘skill issue’ are why I don’t care for the forumers reactions to my thread. Like I said, I made this for the 99% of players who aren’t on forums and don’t spend all day on MCOC grinding resources. Kabam should fix bugs for once instead of creating content that bugs directly impact.

    I did 4 runs already and I got better fighting Ares each time. I’m out of revives and don’t wanna dip into my units so gonna build revives again then do the last 2. Ares has got to be the least enjoyable boss in the 9 yrs I’ve been playing this game though. By far. 😂

    My guy i play less than 30 minutes a day. Those skill issues and getting better apply to everyone not just you. And if you don't care for "forumers" reactions, why post on forums? Seems the only no life sweat here is you. Seems you casually skipped over what I said as well when I say that almost every comment I've seen from people who have done more than 1 path has used significantly less revives than initial completion. Which means, you guessed it, it is not a revive dump. It is in fact, learnable and highly possible to cost less than necropolis did.

    It has no relevance, its a revive spam, you can get revives for units and units are farmable.
    Whales spend money.
    I am not a comedian, I wouldn't dare to speak for a group of people, I try to talk for me and show my own point of view on most posts. I used to make the mistake of thinking I could speak for a group of people, boy was I wrong.

In youtube comment, global, reddit, etc. The majority of people i’ve seen taking on Epoch are complaining about this content and the bugs that affect it, with other 100% understandable complaints. So I can absolutely speak for them as we share the same thought and opinions. I’m not speaking for formers who are mostly all mcoc sweats. Didn’t expect a positive reception to this thread on here.

    @BringPopcorn If I cared then I would have stopped making threads a longgggg time ago. Most of my threads are disagreed with on forums and always have been… yet i’ve never folded, and still say what I feel needs to be said. I come in and make threads with opinions outside of the echo-chamber. I know the majority of the average player base agree with my simple and understandable points.

    So you are confirming my story. You don't have thoughts on your own, you just repeat things based on YT comments and so on. God forbid some F2P has to spend 1000 precious units on a revive bundle to do Everest content... So crazy...

    @BringPopcorn Jheeze.. it’s like speaking to a lil kid. These are all my opinions… but it just so happens that i’ve seen the majority of player talk around Epoch feel the same way as I do… jheeze forums campers are headaches.

    I would say that it's more like block than parry, is not so specific like parry is, thinking on this way is more easy just block the attack that try to be so specific to try parry.

    It sounds like you're just not very good at the game. You're the reason story content is so easy. You're the reason why challenging content is hard to find in this game. You don't want to be challenged. You want to collect all these resources like revs and pots to never have to use them. You don't want to use anyone but Hercules and when you have to, your brain melts.
